We paid the guy $3200.00 to start with some kitchen remodel. He gave us date and time when he would come by to start work. He never showed up so we called and asked whats going. Several times he would give us excuses to why he couldn't come by to work for what we paid for. We decided to cancel on him and wanted a refund due to never showing up and starting the work. Since early February he has not gave our money back and we are still struggling to get it back. The excuses he has given us to why we haven't received our money are 1. Could never make it to the bank (4/15/23) 2. His bank account got hacked (4/18/23) 3. Was having trouble taking out his own money from bank (4/26/23) 4. Went for a loan to pay us back and was approved for but had to wait to get the money back (5/4/23) 5. He was trying to do a money order to pay us but he said his card kept getting declined (5/11/23) 6. We gave him 2 different account info for a wire transfer but he said he couldn't set it up because it was the weekend so he was going to do it first thing Monday morning (5/13/23) and that was a fail, he said for some reason it was not going through 7. We were suppose to meet close by a court house for security on Monday at 3pm so he can hand over a cashiers check that never happened (5/20/23) 8. He got a cashiers "ready" for us on Wednesday to hand it over but we never saw it (5/30/23) 9. Decided to send our cashiers check through certified mail cause he didn't want any confrontations, he never sent us over a transaction # after asking for it so many times (6/2/23) 10. He said he was goin to give us cash this day but than decided to write an agreement about handing over our money if we don't post nothing on media (6/8/23). He now has not reached out to us and we are needing help to get our money back.
