On 09/22/2023, I was contacted by a representative from Mountain States Driving School to schedule my child's (2 remaining) Behind-The-Wheel training classes. They do not make reservations without full payment in advance (that is NON-Refundable - NEVER. EVER). I didn't have my wallet with me so I asked if I could call back within 30 minutes. When I called back, I spoke with a different representative, she gave me a total of $320 for 2 - 2 hour lessons. (Meanwhile, I kept thinking the total should have been $300, as the CONTRACT (posted on their website) states $75 per hour, and each lesson is 2 hours long. I mentioned that the price seemed incorrect, but was in a hurry and had to get to an appointment, so I gave her a credit card for the first reservation. I had to go, so we canceled the 2nd appointment and I carried on with my day. When I arrived at home, I went to the website and clicked the Customer Contract tab at the top of the main Web page. I re-read the contract and noticed that the cost, clearly stated on the CONTRACT, is $75 per hour for Behind-The-Wheel Training. So, when I called this afternoon to ask for a refund of $10 I was told that their boss, Anthony, had to be contacted and I would get a call back. A little while later today, 09/23/2023, I received a call back from the same representative (Vanessa), and she stated that her boss said the price increase to $80 per hour is "all over the website" and there was nothing she could do about it. I asked her to tell Anthony that a WRITTEN CONTRACT, posted on his website is BINDING, and she offered me his email address. I will not contact him by email since the last time I had contact with him he was extremely rude to me as I told him his cars are unsafe (brakes to the floor) and need to be repaired. Why hasn't the State of Colorado's Code of Regulations enforced vehicle safety requirements? These are people driving for the first time and it's DANGEROUS!
