On July 3, 2025, a ************************** service technician removed the existing baseboard trim in my solarium and replaced it with a self-adhesive vinyl edge trim. I paid him $564.38 (MasterCard) that day. He was scheduled to return Aug 15 to put down 4 feet of remaining trim, but he did not show up. On Aug 10, I sent photos (the same ones that I attached to this complaint) to the business. I told them the photos show shoddy workmanship, that my house is on the market, and that the work done was unacceptable. I have not heard a word from them since. I cannot sell my house with the trim in the sanitarium looking like it does. I will have to hire someone else to replace it, which will cost additional money. I would like to be reimbursed for the full amount, which includes both labor and supplies. I am filing this complaint because the business has done nothing to try to rectify the situation.

Mr ********************** resolved my issue with the trim work they did in my solarium. Originally, they used an adhesive vinyl material which didn't tolerate the heat in the room and caused gaps in the trim. After some time, they returned and replaced the vinyl with a wood trim. I am pleased with the work completed.

I received a payment request from this business but the work was never done. The issue occurred on 5/17/24, and I am not sure what brought this up now. After I contacted the business for some minor work needed in my house, a worker was dispatch to my home. I showed him the work discussed over the phone with his boss, but he thought it was more work than expected and that he would not have the time to do it that day (he arrived late). Still, no one gave me a clear and final written estimate or contract to sign. Before leaving, he said he would have to go and purchase material for the work requested and would be back. He returned with a sheet of drywall and a wood stud and left it in my garage. It is not worth the $70 requested. I offered to give that back as well but received no response. Also, before leaving, the worker said he would quickly remove the shutters attached to the window frame that needed work and would show himself out once finished. He also said he would contact me later to schedule a day to do the work. I never heard from him or anyone else since then. I assumed the work was too much for them, ****************, they are trying to charge me $361.14 for no work done and are harassing me by emails to pay them. When I replied with the same information previously mentioned here, they ignored me. Instead, I received a confirmation for an appointment the next day. I sent another email to let them know that I did not request an appointment, to which they replied it was a mistake, meaning that they had received my first email and just chose to ignore it. At this point, I do not want them back due to their unprofessionalism and dishonesty.I asked them to correct the bill. They did nothing besides sending me the same email again. I requested a copy of the work order signed by me (they cant because it does not exists) and pictures of the work finished (also impossible) to justify the bill, but they still keep harassing me with the same payment request.

We attempted to reach out to the customer to resolve the issue but was unsuccessful contacting her.

Respectfully, our technician was early to the appointment.  The appointment was scheduled for 2:30pm.  Our dispatch system and GPS system tracks the Technicians when they dispatch and arrive.  Our technician arrived at the appt at 2:26pm which is time stamped and confirmed.  Furthermore, when we schedule an appt, we have a one-hour time window for the appointment, so this appointment had an arrival time from 2:00pm to 3:00pm with an appointment time of 2:30pm, since that is when the customer was available to receive our technician.

As a Mr. ********************** franchise business, we are a ****************** which has 18 professional brands serving the home and business repair and improvement market.  With our valued potential customers, we receive calls in our office, discuss the details of the project and 80% of the time, we provide an estimate over the recorded telephone conversation which provides a range of labor and materials.  Upon arrival, the Technician confirms the verbal estimate or if the scope of the project is different than what was discussed originally, the Technician will contact the office and then discuss the project with the customer and any potential changes to time and materials.  Regarding the other 20% of calls we receive in our office, we schedule onsite estimates, normally at no charge, to collect more accurate information so we can prepare a detailed estimate.  In this case we received the call, and the office estimated $650 to $800 with $125 in materials to complete the work that would require multiple visits with drywall repair.

Regarding the issue associated with scheduling the follow-up appointment, we dropped the ball and somehow missed the follow-up appointment.  For that mistake, we apologize, and we stand ready to finish the project, but understand the reluctance to proceed forward.

The invoice submitted for the work completed represents a fraction of what was quoted for the total project since we only completed part of the work.

    Regards
Mr. ********************** of Englewood, Centennial and S. Aurora.

I am rejecting this response because: the business made no effort to resolve the issue. I will not pay for a service that was not provided; where is the signed work order? Contract? A confirmation of completion of the work you say you performed (signed by me, writing NA is just not acceptable or legal)? Pictures of the work done (not of the work requested and not completed, like originally sent)? You are requesting payment, so you have the burden of proof. But, if the work was in fact not done, then it would make sense why none of this has been submitted yet.

Also, each time that this business sent me a bill (x3), I responded by email. They never discussed the issue with me or offered anymore information on the details of why I was receiving those bills, especially 5 months after the fact. The owner did leave me one voicemail but the tone of it and the berating included in it would not make anyone want to call back. Anyway, I will follow my lawyers advice and get everything in writing, so this voicemail was insignificant. But, the business owner was asking me to erase my public review on **** and would then forget everything. Again, showing the ethic and honesty of the business and its owner. Truthfully, I would be happy to update my review if the owner respond to that review with an apology and a resolution.

    Sincerely,
