      Extremely unpleasant experience at this UPS store. I drove 50 miles each way, since no store in Cortez, to return two packages. One needed a small piece of tape which they refused to offer. I mentioned that all other UPS stores we've been to offered repackaging service under the Amazon contract. The grey haired woman because agitated and loud and told me they are a franchise and independent. I suggested they up their service and she grew more and more agitated and loud. I said I only need a small piece of tape. When I returned home, I looked up their reviews and was shocked. Terrible reviews which I wished I'd read before driving all that distance. It's obvious to me that since they have a monopoly in SW Colorado, respect and good service are ignored. Many reviews mentioned the store should be closed. I have to agree.

      Heidi came in with an Amazon return. It required that she package it. She was told this and didn't like it - she wanted us to do for her for no cost. We explained that we are a business and we don't offer product for free. She started raising her voice and saying how she's from AZ and in AZ they do this for her. We calmly explained that every store is different - she wouldn't stop yelling. The other customers in the store apologized to us for her behavior. As she was leaving, she was screaming how she couldn't wait to write a bad review. We have to follow Amazon's instructions. I am sorry that she didn't - if she had read her instructions, she would have known that it was her responsibility. If she were pleasant at the time (instead of telling us about what happens in AZ) I would have taped for her on this one occasion and asked her to take care of in future. She was so nasty and was yelling so loudly, I just wanted her to leave. She followed through with the complaint. She needs to read her instructions before she enters a business and "expects" things to be done for her. If she were nice this wouldn't have happened. You can't just go in a store and expect them to do this for you when we have never even met you before!!!!!

      Where there's smoke.... there's fire. Your many 1 star reviews tells the real story. You definitely have a customer service and attitude problem.
