    We absolutely do not recommend doing business with *** ********************** Plumbing, ****************. If we could give them a zero rating, we would do so. Their main problem is that they grossly overcharge for their workmanship. THE **** We had Ben ********************** install a 1.0-inch ball valve on the supply line (which they supplied) and a bathroom shower valve in our condo. COMPARABLE ESTIMATE: The plumber that our general contractor would have used (if he had been available on short notice, which he wasnt) would have charged us $50 for the ball valve, $200 to install the ball valve, and $900 to install the bathroom shower valve for a total of $1,150. OVERCHARGE: *** ********************** charged us almost three times that amount, $2,957!! We believe that this is unacceptable and frankly highway robbery. POOR WORKMANSHIP: Not only were the Ben ********************** charges outrageous, but their workmanship was unprofessional and shoddy. For example, the bathroom valve housing was installed upside down and the hot and cold-water valves were not installed at all. This problem was not detected until after the tile was installed around the valve. Consequently, the tile had to be removed, the plumbing job redone, and the tile work redone. *** ********************** did agree to reimburse us for having the tile work needing to be redone, but much time was lost due to the shoddy workmanship. POOR COMMUNICATION: In addition to the above, we called and left a voice message three times for a return call to discuss the outrageous charges and the poor workmanship they never returned our call. They also pushed back on our claim.We will never do business with *** ********************** again and do not recommend that anyone else do business with them either. We will be communicating with our management company to recommend that they not use or recommend Ben ********************** as well.

    Sorry for your bad experience with our services. Once in a while a job will go poorly. As with life things happen. Remodels can be the most challenging. We did refund a large portion of the over all expense.Here at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing we strive to be the best in the industry. And being the best comes with added expense. Our pricing is base off our local economy and not the national average. Myself and my technicians all own homes and are raising families as locals. Our service technicians earn over double the national average to be able to live in our beautiful mountain community. Our technicians also enjoy company paid time off, on going training, **************** for themselves and their families, retirement saving plan, fulltime office staff, all wheel drive service vans for our long *******, and weekly uniform service. Our company also owns a brick-and-mortar shop located in ************. Our pricing is in line to afford our employees a higher than most standard of living, and I fight for this every day!Thanks for your consideration and input. Good Luck.
