On March 12, 2025, My partner and I went to purchase a vehicle from this location. We paid, but did not sign a legal contract. The contracts the person had us sign was fraudulent and included a credit application we didn't approve. We paid in cash. The sales person who called himself AB false advertised his vehicle and attempted to sell us car that didn't work. He assured us stating that the car was good, that he had a warranty and that the business would ensure that the car was in working order. We left the location and in less than 1 hour the car stopped in the middle of a busy intersection with my child and my partner. The car became unsafe for us as we couldn't move it or do anything. We returned the car. We contacted AB and the location Michaels Auto for assistance and they provided none stating that if we "didn't like" the car that we could return it for another one. We demanded a full refund immediately. AB is refusing to provide said refund stating that we are being dramatic. We have proof of all that occurred during this time and we need help and for this business to be held accountable for fraudulent business practices. We were told lie after lie to get us to purchase the car and I don't feel like that's fair to consumers. This states that we applied for credit we didn't apply for and continues to lie. Dealer number *****. They took the car and didn't provide a refund and now the gentlemen Abnet Tachibele is the sales person is telling us to sue him instead of provide us with necessary documentation to dispute this transaction.Business Response

We are writing in response to the complaint regarding a recent vehicle purchase at Michael Auto Sales LLC. As soon as the customer informed us of the issue with the vehicle, we took immediate action by dispatching a mechanic to assist them. When it was determined that the issue could not be resolved promptly, we refunded the full amount of $7,008.56 to the customers original method of payment. Additionally, we offered them the option to exchange the vehicle for another one they had initially expressed interest in as a potential resolution.
We take customer satisfaction seriously and always aim to resolve concerns in a fair and timely manner. We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter and remain committed to transparency and ethical business practices. Please let us know if further documentation or clarification is required

Thank you for your email regarding the complaint filed by ***** ********.
I would like to clarify the situation and provide a detailed response:
Previous Assistance: We have previously assisted Mr. ******** by addressing a significant engine issue with his vehicle. Although Mr. ******** had purchased a private warranty through a third party, which should have been his primary resource for such issues, we chose to help by fixing the mechanical problem and covering half of the repair costs. This was done despite the fact that the warranty should have been involved in these matters.
Maintenance and Responsibility: The current issues with the vehicle are related to maintenance that Mr. ******** has not adequately managed. Our records show that despite our intervention, the vehicles ongoing problems stem from the lack of proper care and maintenance on his part.
Customers Feedback: Despite our efforts and financial contribution towards the repair, Mr. ******** has blamed our business for issues that arose from his own failure to maintain the vehicle properly. We feel that this feedback does not accurately reflect the support and service we provided.Customer Answer

Michael Auto sales sold us a lemon car for over $17,000. Dealership told me a few weeks ago that on Dec 31 2022 when we bought it, it would only have been worth $4000 IF it had been running properly. The very next day (Jan 1st 2023) the check engine light came on. Abenet (salesman) continued to refuse to fix the car and told us that we would have to pay to fix the car. So the car did not work for 1 year. Finally in December 2023 Yosiph (owner of michael auto sales) said that they would get our engine replaced and pay $1500 if we would use their own specific mechanic, ******, at ***** Auto Sales 8000 E Colfax that they told us to go to. Having no other choice, we went to their mechanic and, knowing that this man was probably dishonest also, we asked for a receipt for the $1500 of our share of the repair. He refused to give us a receipt. Then in June 2024, the car started making disturbing noises when starting, and knocking in the engine. We took it back to their mechanic who had supposedly replaced the engine. He said that he had never seen us before, and that our engine was ruined because our water pump was broken and we had no coolant. We knew he was lying, because we always get the oil changes regularly done and the car never overheated and never leaked anything, so we took it to **** Crestmore Automotive. They said there was nothing wrong with our water pump, but that they were concerned about the startup& engine noises. As of July 2024 we have paid about $11,200 in car rental fees, and $6,345 for the car loan every month since we bought the car, for grand total of $17,545. Not to mention paying $1,600 a month for car rentals when our rent was $1,500 a month forced us to get rental assistance after getting eviction notices. Or to mention that we have two small babies that we are trying to take care of and we're lucky that the government paid all of our back rent and we did not end up on the street because of Michael Auto sales and their dishonest mechanic. Please tell us how to help us shut down their business and make them compensate all of us that they have cheated and lied. I don't know how many families with children are in homeless shelters because of these people. They have disabled ****** reviews so that I cannot even post One. Let's get this business shut down for good so they can stop hurting families in our community!Initial Complaint

it is a shame i can not give them minus ******, so people would never buy from them. the dealership of scammers !! everyone who works there and i mean everyone is a scamer!! i got scamed in the horrible way possible!!! read this first!!! i have all of the documentation, video, photo and audio proof up on request!!! i bought a car from them in march of this year (2023), spend 12k on the car, and oh boy do i regret it!!! when i bought a car same day i had a "check engine" and "low tire pressure" came up. the first day!!!! Next morning my car would not start, when i called the place and i was dealing with person named ab and he told me he will have his stuff and when he got back to me, he said that they will fix it, but they have to follow the "protocol", anyway to make whole thing shorter, we are in October now and my car never passed a emission test, I was stack to pay for Axel Fix or should i say it did for them when they they illegally reset the "check engine" ligth and next day, just think next day when i went it faild, they "tried to fix" catalytic converters and axle 4 times holding my car for a week and a half each time, my car still did notpass the emission test, catalytic converters cost almost $4000 to fix, i left with almost $2000 for all of the diagnostic papers and repairs so far. I hope that NO ONE ELSE would make same mistake as me and buy from them!!!! not even a pack of sugar should not be bought from them it would be something wrong with is guaranty!!! I wish that all that they did to me it will comeback to them handful!!! if anyone need prove that I tell the truth please reach out i will gladly provide it to them!!! I have 3 hours of videos of them scamming me and claiming that they had to work on my car for 2 weeks, knowing this is the ONLY car I have that was working!!!! After I picked up my car and watched the footage I was shocked and wrote them a demand letter, but they think they are invisible!!! I want and willBusiness Response

in regards to the complains from our dear customer that bought a vehicle back in March. we sold our customer a vehicle that passed emissions and docs were provided to the customer and we also have a record of that. Here at Michael Auto Sales LLC we offer our customers to do their own pre-purchase inspection prior to buying any used vehicle offered for sale. we have all docs that we did the transaction by the book. Also we were helping our customer after the transaction with parts she needed for the vehicle at a discounted price and discounts on labor as well. please get in touch with us with any questions you may have in regards to this case. we appreciate you reaching out to ** and making sure we are doing business at a professional level.
