      On 10/3/22, our neighbors hired Ismael's Tree Service to cut down two large trees in their yard. One tree was against our fenceline. ******'s workers went into our backyard (without asking) to handle the falling limbs. When pieces of the tree trunk were cut, they landed on our roof and bounced into our yard. Every time this happened the house shook to the foundation (I work from home). I went out multiple times to ask them to NOT hit our roof with the tree trunk pieces as I was sure it would damage it. The workers just said 'it is a really big tree'. Once the tree pieces landed, the workers proceeded to chainsaw it into smaller pieces. This made a mess of our recent landscaping. There is sawdust and tree pieces everywhere. We were planning on inspecting the roof, but didn't have time/extension ladder. On 10/5 I noticed the drywall on the ceiling of our bedroom was caved in, and numerous cracks on the nearby wall and ceiling. At that time I contacted my neighbor's to get ***'s (Ismael's Tree Service) contact information. I called *** immediately and explained what happened. He came by on 10/7 and looked at the bedroom damage, the roof, the attic, and the yard and took pictures. He said he didn't see any damage on the roof nor attic. He apologized and said he'd send over some people to fix the bedroom wall/ceiling, as well as have someone address the mess in the yard. On 10/18 2 men came over to fix the drywall. (10/18 the same men repaired our neighbors' gutter, also damaged by Ismaels). I asked *** several times for pictures of the roof. I had an inspector from AtoZ Roofing inspect the roof on 11/2. The inspector found damage that Ismael's Tree Service caused on 10/3, which they then tried to repair/hide. They put shingles over the damage and did not seal/nail in properly. *** blatantly lied saying the roof was 'not' damaged, and his workers tried to cover it up. I texted/emailed *** on 11/2 & 11/3, he has not stated he will pay for this-Our roof will leak!
