            BBB unable to locate business
            I’m looking to get some help with my system. I already paid off the solar panels and am trying to sell the house but it shows that the lease hasn’t been released on the panels. It’s been like five years that I paid them off and now I’m having a hard time ever since EcoMark went out of business. Never got any information on who we talk to or who is going to take care off any warranty work. I haven’t been able to keep track of the power the panels are producing and can’t find any one to help me. This company made a contract with us and now it seems like they just left a lot of people hanging.

            My EcoMark experience was terrible. I wanted to go with a local company since the major solar companies are not in ********. What a mistake. The salesman acted like my best friend and assured me EcoMark would do a better job and be cheaper than the other, larger solar company. After I signed with EcoMark and they did the roof inspection, EcoMark needed over $1500 more from me for blocking needed to reinforce my roof for the solar panels. I was hesitant, but reluctantly agreed to pay them more (spoiler alert.. the blocking wasn't done correctly and failed inspection).The salesman told me I would have solar within 120 days (spoiler alert.. by the time their installation finally passed inspection, it took 257 days. My neighbors, who went with the other, larger solar company, had solar within 90 days of signing their contract).EcoMark made me believe they would do the installation. When I called the City to check on the permit, another company had filed the permit (spoiler alert.. EcoMark outsourced the solar installation on my house to third party vendors). An unmarked, beat up, white van with 2 guys did the solar installation on my home. They installed it incorrectly the first time and I had to track them down to come back and redo the blocking in the attic to pass inspection. Do your researchon EcoMark and don't make the mistake I made to go with a "local" company.
