The company did two roofs for me. Either were done successfully. They tried to overcharge me and had mismatched shingles on one roof without bring it to my attention. The owner was confrontational with the insurance company adjuster. It's going to be very expensive to correct their problems.

Both of your roofs were done successfully and approved by your local permitting department. You were given a $1500 discount on your primary home for your referral to your 2nd job and your continued business with us. CSR installed upgraded shingles, underlayment, ice and water shield all at no additional cost, all for free. Your 2nd home still has a balance of $3,904.95. Your 2nd home did have a bundle(out of 124) of shingles that was a mismatch- this was a small mistake that was acknowledged and could have been resolved very easily. You actually agreed to a $500 discount but instead decided to keep over $4,000. This issue could have also been resolved within 2-3 hours of work but you would not allow CSR on site at all. CSR wants to make sure you realize this was an honest mistake that goes back to our supplier, unfortunately it does happen, all we can do is accept this and come up with resolutions to resolve the matter.CSR has always been a resource to resolve any issue(s) with your business, you made it impossible for us to resolve issues in the end.Phil- working with you has been a learning experience, CSR will continue to install top of the line products while delivering great service.

HALF TRUTHS. Indeed, I agreed to the settlement to reduce the final charges by $500. I cut a check, the owner and an employee came to the door and I offer the check. The owner of Colorado Sustainable Roofing (CSR) refused the check (an unwise business practice, in my opinion) and instead handed me an invoice for more money. It was for something that was not specified per insurance. The CSR's contract with me specifically states there will be no additional charges beyond what the insurance specifies. CRS had ample opportunity to correct the mismatched shingles, which were obvious both for the installers as well as those from CRS that inspect the roof after installation. Instead, CRS wanted more money from the insurance company claiming the roof was bigger than the insurance company's measure. I insisted on a hand measure by which was to be conducted jointly by the insurance and CRS. On that day and time CRS was a no show. The insurance staff measured and found their satellite measures were correct and upon inspection saw the obvious mismatches, which they brought to my attention. Need I say more?
