      There are 2 listings of my business on MapQuest. Both of these show up on the first page of search results when searching ****** for my business, and both of these listings show incorrect information. Over the past 6 months I have called 17 phone numbers that I can find associated with Mapquest customer service. All of these phone numbers are answered by the same recording and with each selection effectively ends the call. I have sent countless emails to the email provided on their website, with no responses. MapQuest is owned by System1, headquartted in ********, ** and ***********************, **. System1 does not have a way of contacting customer support either. I have tried everything to have these listings removed.

      MapQuest is my personal address when I do a ****** search for ******************************* me personal address shows up with street number of 9325, I have tried to contact them many times including writing **** mail all to no avail.       My personal address is still showing on the MapQuest listing for ******************************* when I do a ****** Search, apparently it is no longer showing when it first appears but when you click on it it is still showing my personal address, see attachment, I have tried Emailing, Writing, phoning MapQuest but can't reach anybody please have them contact me ********************** Cell ************

      Please advise me what **************** I might complaint to if the important issue is not resolved by BBB.

      Better Business Bureau has received the complaint that you submitted on 2/11/2025 against MapQuest, Inc.  The complaint was assigned ID ******** in our system, Issue my personal address is showing up on the internet when I do ****** Search for *******************************, please see attached

      Although I tried to correct the problem by emailing, writing by ****, I tried many times to correct the problem form the MapQuest website, I never received a response from them I wrote to ******************************* a few times after I learned their email from BBB correspondence,  I don't have a reference or ticket number other than the complaint number from BBB, I have tried to get them to respond directly to me ******* ****** ********************** ************ but I have not heard from them.

      If I'm not able to resolve the issue through BBB where else can I file a complaint?

      As mentioned, we are not able to find a business listing on MapQuest as described. There was a page that was removed a while back: ******************************************************************************. If a ****** search is returning the link to a MapQuest Page not Found site, the ****** search result will go away eventually. Unfortunately, MapQuest can not force ******'s search results.

       

      You mentioned that you provided a MapQuest ticket number. I don't see that ticket in the previous communication. There is a BBB ticket number but no MapQuest ticket number. I've searched for your business name, website, and your email and I don't see any communication with the support team before the BBB submission.

      I have tried multiple times to get a business listing removed that is listed on Mapquest at our old residential address that the business was never even located at. We don't live there anymore but I also have no idea how they got that address and put it as our business. I have reported multiple times and it is still up. They need to remove this listing ASAP. Hopefully the people living there haven't had people showing up.

      I would like to have the duplicate listing in the link below removed completely. There is already a correct listing with my business location and contact information on MapQuest. The duplicate listing below has my personal information and directs people to my personal residence. This has become increasingly frustrating, as I have made multiple attempts to get this resolved.       I have made multiple rnfequests via email to support at MapQuest to correct my incorrect very old business address listing on MapQuest. They always respond with "We're having higher than normal volume of requests." What is it going to take to get my old addresses corrected.

      The did delete two very old addresses I had.  But this is still not correct and they added photos that are very old from and address I had that doesn't even go with the address they just changed for me.

      Mapquest has been advertising incorrect information for my business for months. It is impossible to contact anyone in the company by email or phone. Me and my employees are getting yelled at by people that are being wronged by a company that is not associated with us whatsoever. I have waited months for a response to my email and their phones do not work.

      Mapquest has the following business listed as permanently closed- ******************, located at ****************************************************************************. This was noticed in November 2024 and Mapquest was contacted to request it be corrected. From November 2924 to January 2025 we have made the same request at least 6 times, with the same response that they received the information and it would be addressed. However, NO correction has been made and no additional follow up with us has been made. This business has been continuously open for 18 years and I see no other information anywhere that should have indicated to Mapquest that the business is permanently closed. All we are asking at this point is that the information be corrected and that the business is correctly listed as open. Obviously, falsely listing a business as closed that is actually open has a negative impact on the business, and therefore we need this corrected immediately. We have patiently waited for three months prior to starting to take more aggressive action. Again, at this point, we are only asking that the information listed about The Hosta Hideaway be correct, and the information stating that the business is permanently closed be removed. Thank you for any assistance you can provide to help us get this resolved since our attempt to follow up directly with Mapquest has NOT been successful.

      MapQuest has labeled my Business as Permanently Closed on their website when in fact I am open. I have sent 3 requests to them over the last couple months to get this corrected to business is "OPEN" and they have not. They have caused me a loss of business because of this. Who gives them the right to label a business as open or closed anyway? Why have they taken on the roll of the decider of open & closed business? They are simply a *************** provider that gives anyone from the public the option to "check a box" if a business is open or closed. One individual is all it takes. This can destroy a still going business. Why have they chosen to hurt my business by doing this? All that I am asking for is to mark my business as open because I am open. Over 3 months I've been trying to get this fixed. My company name is ******************/************************. Action needs to be taken.

      Mapquest shows my business as permanently closed. I had someone call on my behalf and they were told there are two businesses listed under this name and in order to fix this erroneous listing, we need to purchase a subscription. This doesn't seem like fair business practice.

      Mapquest told me to contact Data axel to get the listing updated. I did so. Data axel sent an email stating they bot updated the listing and then removed it and it would take time for it to get updated on third party systems.

      I since contacted Map Quest to get them to remove the faulty listing and have not heard back from them. My email to them is attached.
