I bought a mini-package at the beginning of September, promising the designer would start working on it in a week. Once I paid, that timeline changed to the project delivered at the beginning of October. I contacted the company, asking them to change my designer, but they said they couldn't because even though the website stated designers were available immediately, that wasn't true. I stuck with my designer and waited for October 4th. October 4th came around, and no project was delivered. I contacted them, and they just brushed it off, said the designer wasn't working with them any longer, and would place me with another designer to deliver my project in another three weeks. The project that was supposed to be delivered in one week would be delivered in 2 months. I wrote back that I wanted my assignment done immediately, but I still haven't heard from them.Havenly, Inc Response

STAY AWAY from a company that offers incompetent service and horrible customer experience. I had used ********************** e-design option for a small room several years ago and walked away disappointed when the designer seemed to not even take into account my room measurements when putting together an uninspired collection of couch, coffee table and media unit ensamble. Completely useless waste of time!Recently, my boyfriend convinced me to give it another shot for the in-person service as we were moving into a bigger apartment together. Paid over $700 for the project and ended up waiting almost a month with no progress only for the company to tell us the designer dropped our project and that there was no one to help us for at least another 4-6 weeks. This is despite the fact that I indicated multiple times the time pressing nature of our project and Havenly had assured us they could find a designer to assign. The most upsetting part is that we lost precious time in designing our new apartment and we are now 2 weeks away from the move! We also wasted time creating mood boards and answering surveys to share with the designer who ultimately ditched the task. Havenly has no intention to make this right. They gave me 2 options: (1) full refund not really making up for this horrendous experience in any way, or (2) to hire them for an e-design it would still mean me hiring this horrible company for a project. I refuse to pay for the services of such an untrustworthy, incompetent company. I suggested they can make it right by offering this service for free on top of the refund and they flat out refused.Shame on me for giving them a second chance thinking the in-person designer would offer a more personalized and skilled approach. They in fact cannot even fulfill this service despite heavily advertising it because they do not have enough in-person designers. Please avoid at all costs! When I first signed up, Havenly system assigned my name with random characters. I wasnt aware of that until I talked to my Havenly personal designer. She asked for my real name b/c what she saw on her end was a bunch of characters. I told her my correct name and moved on. Couple days before receiving my project, Havenly canceled my project and deleted my account b/c they said I used false identity or personating another person.Instead of asking me or working with the customer to resolve the issue, ********************** went straight and deleted my account and project like I committed something against the laws which is a bad practice and a pathetic move.. I always want to support Havenly but this is the last straw. Its good to know that how Havenly treats customers like that before I waste more money on this company.Havenly, Inc Response

I had two poor experiences with them. The first was just inconvenient, the second constitutes fraud. First, I ordered a rug, and they sent me the wrong one. Luckily, although the process was slow, they did eventually replace it with the correct one, but I had to box up the other one and take it to my local *** store to return it, and they wouldn't ship the correct rug until that was done. The second, and more egregious offense, was that they were running a summer "sale" that promised 5% off of orders of $500 or more, 10% off of orders of $1000 or more, and 15% off of orders of $1500 or more. When I put $1000 worth of merchandise in my cart, it knocked the price down to $900 automatically, triggering the 10% discount. I checked out believing that was what I was paying. When they sent me a receipt, it showed only $45 off, and when I emailed customer service telling them they hadn't given me the correct discount, they informed me that they review the order after it's placed and only give the discount on items that are not already marked down by the vendor. So they showed me one price when I placed the order, and charged me another. I believe this constitutes fraud and I will no longer place any orders through their service -- which as other reviewers mention below, hurts their designers, who get the bulk of their fee via sales commissions. I also believe they have largely marked up certain items and charge higher than necessary shipping fees. I tried putting a piece of art into my cart and the shipping was more than the item itself. I was able to source everything else that was suggested for my rooms from other sites for significantly cheaper prices, and although Havenly states that they will price match, it's only for very specific websites that also sell these items -- as every link that I tried did not work. Very disappointing and although I was happy with my designer's work, I will definitely never use the service again.Havenly, Inc Response

Worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. They shipped the wrong furniture to us and refuse to fix it in a reasonable manner. It is made of six pieces and 2 of them are incorrect. Their response for us to take all the furniture in the original boxes to store and wait 4 months to get the correct order ship even though pottery barn has it in stock now. We don't have the original boxes for the four correct pieces because they were quite large taking half a room. They also weighted several hundred pounds and they took one month to response to get them to even return it. So to fix their error was need to wait 4 months, store things in our house, and drop several hundred pounds of boxes. Easy for us just to buy the two correct pieces because I don't believe they will actually fix their mistake due to their incompetence. Never use this company.
