On June 11, at 2:50 PM, I attempted to access the only street that leads to the door of my residence in *******, **. There was a laborer from Labor Finders stationed there who said I couldn't access it because of work. From the beginning his demeanor was negative with a "leave-me-alone" attitude. When I said I lived on that street, he became more irritated and said I could not access it. When I asked when I could access it, he started throwing a tantrum, expressing how I was a bother, and ended it, with a "Fuuuck!!!" And yes, at that, I uttered that expletive back at him because enough was enough.I understand this man (later self-identified as ******) was given a low-level job and was doing it, but being belligerent and swearing at residents who are just trying to get to their home, and understand when they can access it on a 92-degree day is unacceptable. I drove to the on-site manager's truck to ask when I could access my home, and to report ****** (he refused to give his last name). The manager politely gave me the info I needed. ****** came storming over and resumed arguing with me, saying he had been reported by WOMEN before, and that he didn't care if I reported him because he still had his job and wouldn't be fired. Then one of ******** friends -- also a laborer hired by Labor Finder -- came over and started tag teaming with ****** to verbally attack me. This friend was a young ****** man who appeared to be in his 20s/early 30s with tattoos.The on-site manager half heartedly told them to stop and walk away, but with no conviction, so they ignored him and kept antagonizing me. At one point, ****** said, "I respect MY people", indicating that I was neither white nor ******. (I'm Asian.)It's despicable that this business encourages aggressive, racist behavior by failing to discipline those workers, and continuing to employ someone who has been repeatedly reported for it. If you hire this company, you support racism and aggression against women.
