            I was billed incorrectly for an appointment that I had paid for out of pocket on the day of service. The appointment was for injections. This provider then turned around and in addition to the injections tried to **** my previous insurance for an office visit and then sent me a **** for the amount when the insurance wouldn't cover it (since I am no longer have that insurance). I received a **** out of the blue for $281 almost five months later.I did not agree to this being considered an office visit (and it was a same day appointment) meaning I was not on the schedule for an office visit - only a same day appointment for injections. If I had intended this to be an office visit with a dermatologist my guess is I wouldn't have been able to get on the schedule so quickly. Also, I would not have gone to this provider for anything other than injections since I know they are out of network with my current insurance provider.

            Horrible corporate practice. A money mill. Horrible patient care. In two appts the first question the nurse asked was if there was a family history of skin cancer. As I had Mohs surgery two years previously in the same practice they obviously had not even looked at my chart before asking a question they should have known the answer to. I went for my annual and the doc treated it as only a cancer screening. She did not even ask if there were other concerns. So I made a second appt in a different ******* office with a different doc and got the same brusque, brief care. She gave pat answers, did not do an exam. And then the front desk tried to overcharge me. I will not go to this practice again.
