On 11/17/2022 I initiated getting 4 crowns at DICC. I was never given other treatment plans and was told that this was the best option. The purpose for getting these crowns was solely cosmetic, I had 2 large yellow blotches on my front right teeth and was told to correct all 4 front teeth. Before crowns I had no pain in my teeth. My first set of temps were wrongfully permanently cemented in by the dental assistant. on my next visit *************** informed me the assistant had been fired and he would have to drill the temps off. Fast forward to when I got my first set of permanent crowns, they looked nice but I was in excruciating pain. I went back to the office several times and they assured me it was normal. After being persistent they finally took X-rays when they found that the tooth had been chipped and was allowing for food and liquids to get in. I was told that all 4 of my crowns would need to be replaced. I went to Dr.***** and he took 2 crowns out at a time. Aside from it not being aesthetic, I had to constantly go back in to the office because my temps were loose and falling out. After so much trauma to my teeth because they were tugged at intensely after being permanently cemented twice I needed 4 root canals. Prior to getting my root canals the pain was horrific. My whole face swelled and I had to take antibiotics, pain medication and medication to help the swelling, there was one instance that I had to take 26 pills in 24 hours because I had developed a severe infection. My family payed $3,593.60, and never received a final product. I had temporarys that were discolored that were free handed by Dr.***** instead of being made from a mold from impressions of my previous teeth. I was a senior in high school and apart from having a smile I was ashamed of that took a toll on my mental health, my physical health declined because I wasnt able to eat out of fear that my teeth would fall out,my graduation was jeopardized due to missed school for 20+ emergency visits
