    Pattern of Complaint:

    On December 8, 2021, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of consumer complaints filed against Nap Loungewear regarding customer service, billing, and delivery. Consumers allege ordering items from Nap Loungewear’s website and not receiving the correct items or any items at all, but they're being charged immediately after placing the order. Consumers allege that they have difficulty reaching out to Nap Loungewear's customer support, and when they do, they are not being assisted. No refunds have been provided to consumer who have not received the products they ordered.

     

    BBB notified Nap Loungewear of the complaint pattern. As of January 18, 2022, Nap Loungewear has not responded to BBB's request to address the complaint pattern. 

    Alert:

    On December 8, 2021, Better Business Bureau was alerted to a business operating as Nap Loungewear, http://naploungewear.com/. Consumers allege concerns with customer service, product quality and billing. 


    BBB reached out to Nap Loungewear requesting information regarding its ownership and location. As of January 18, 2022, Nap Loungewear has been unresponsive. BBB visited the advertised address on 5350 Broadway, Denver, CO 80216 and found that Nap Loungewear is not located there. Nap Loungewear's website indicates an additional business address at 1000 High St, Perth Amboy, New Jersey 08861. BBB was able to confirm that this office belongs to an unrelated business. According to Nap Loungewear's website, they are headquartered in Hong Kong. 

    A business license search with the Colorado Secretary of State failed to provide licensing information for Nap Loungewear.  

    Complaints can be filed with Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org and the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Protection at www.ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

    Advertising Review:

    On December 8, 2021, Better Business Bureau contacted Nap Loungewear concerning the following advertising claims found on their website, http://naploungewear.com/:


    - "Our supply chain has a fast-react response system".

    - "We strive to provide you with the fastest delivery, normally, product in stock—Usually Ships within 24 hours and 7-15 business days for transit." - BBB has received multiple complaints regarding shipping and deliveries. 

    - "We spend months sourcing the highest quality fabrics."

    - "All our cashmere fabrics come from Mongolia, the world-famous cashmere producing area"

    - Nap Loungewear advertises "100% Silk", "100% Wool", "50% Yak", "%50 Camel", though BBB has received complaints regarding the product's quality.

     

    Advertisements should be truthful, sincere offers to sell. Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request. All advertising that may mislead or deceive consumers should be avoided.

       

    Claims that relate to tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service can be used when the advertiser has substantiation. An example of a claim requiring substantiation would be "#1 car sales in the city." 


    Despite written requests, as of January 18, 2022, Nap Loungewear has not responded to BBB’s request for revisions and clarification in its advertising.

    The date of the transaction: 3/18/2024 Amount paid: $88.00 What was promised: 2 items of clothing (2 loungewear pants)The business is not possible to contact, the phone line ******************) is disconnected, the emails have not been answered, and they would not email back with a tracking number The business has made no attempt to resolve the problem The order number is #****** I am already disputing the charge in ******, but I wanted to report the issue In terms of false advertising, they claim they ship in "7-15 business days". There has been no progress or response on the shipping or tracking number for these items. The order is just marked "processing"

    Don't be tempted. Product is excellent. Delivery is undependable. Returns/exchange a black hole. There is NO customer service. If you want to take a chance, do not incude multiple items in a single order. Cost is higher but if you get an email "Order complete" and 1 or more items is missing from delivery, company will not respond or acknowledge
