We had the Economy car reserved for our trip to DWF. When we get to the front desk, we are told they don't have any economy cars available. My only option was a mini van or a Charger. The difference had to be paid for by us! This doubled the cost of the week long rental. When we walked to the car; it was surrounded by economy cars! The gal asked if we wanted the toll package and when I asked her if we needed it she said no! Last week I received a bill for $109.68 for tolls. The majority of the bill was an administration fee of $90! I will NEVER rent from this company ever again. The tolls were only $19.68 of which I would have gladly paid, but $90 for somebody sitting on their ass? And, they kept our credit card on file which I thought was illegal, and said in the letter that the credit card would be used to pay the bill. Unbelievable! I strongly advise against using this company. The lady next to us was going through the exact same thing.

The Jeep I rented STUNK when I got it. I had to drive with the windows rolled down just to be able to breathe! And it continuously stalled at red lights! When I returned it today, I was told I had to pay $500 to get the smell of marijuana out! And I didn't get my $150 deposit back! If I don't get my money back, I will make SURE I spend my remaining days on this earth warning others about this horrific experience!

I rented thru Expedia because of a medical emergency with my college kid. I arrived ready for their shuttle around *****am. No shuttle. No one answered any phones. My reservation was for 12:30am. After 30 min ********* driver said he thought they were done for the night. I took ********* bus and got a car from them. Requested refund from fox thru Expedia and was told the counter was open til 1am and I was a no-show so they were not refunding my $300. Expedia really did nothing to back me up. ********* counter worker said at that time of night there are a lot of people who have that same situation with ***. The hours on the Expedia website say 12:01am -1 am, and Expedia said they only publish what fox gives them. Terrible situation during a terrible and stressful time of my life. I would call this FRAUD - they failed to provide the rental car OR the shuttle to get to the off airport counterand calls went to answering machine.

I wanted to share my experience with Fox Car Rental in Denver to help potential customers make an informed decision.Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with Fox Car Rental. They used a bait-and-switch tactic to "upgrade" my rental car for twice the original cost. When I picked up the car, I was shocked to find it dented and dirty. And to add insult to injury, I later received a toll bill with a whopping $90 in administration fees! This experience left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same thing. As someone who has rented cars frequently, I can tell you that there are plenty of other car rental companies in Denver that prioritize the safety and satisfaction of their customers. So, I strongly recommend avoiding Fox Car Rental at all costs. Instead, look for trustworthy rental car companies that will provide you with a positive rental experience. You deserve better than what Fox Car Rental has to offer.

NEGATIVE STARS IF POSSIBLE! our flight was delayed and we therefore missed our connection. Called Fox to let them know. "No problem, since you prepaid for your reservation they will hold it for 12 hours." When we get there 9 hours later they tell us they have no car that can accommodate our party of 6 even though we reserved a 7 passenger minivan. Zero remorse. They claim the call center doesn't know their rules which is they give the car away after 3 hours, even if you notify them (although the automated recording when you call Fox reiterates the 12 hour window for prepaid and 6 hour if you didn't). They claim they have no SUV or other vehicle we can take nor for any of the 30 people in line behind us. When we point to multiple cars on the lot they have excuses (that one is already reserved for someone, 2 suvs they are locked out of, etc.). Then the manager (************) says there is a snow storm and people can't get their cars back on time yet we drove the 2 hours to **** tonight and not a flurry or icy surface the entire way. Their only option was to take 2 cars so now we have been there for hours due to their ridiculously long line (90 min and we took an Uber because the shuttle didn't come after waiting a half hour) and we need to have 2 drivers and split up the kids to drive 2 hours at night. And when we asked for a price adjustment stating a car is cheaper than a minivan ***** said they were giving us a car for free like it was some kind of benefit! We do not want 2 cars! We want one car that will fit us all which we paid for months ago. They could not have cared less and were very condescending. The most maddening experience. 90 minute wait seems to be the norm at this place and employees have no sense of urgency. I would gladly pay twice as much for a rental car to avoid having to deal with this place. There is a reason this rental company was cheaper than the others. You get what you pay for. Never again.

DON"T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! We rented a car and they added extra charges without us realizing it. They have you initial these lines and don't explain everything. We had a extra $244.83 added onto our bill. They sent over the invoice after we complained. I am contacting everyone I can to say what they did to us hoping it doesn't happen to others.

Never again. They try to run up the bill any way they can. $8.99 gas. $15 fee for toll road. Try to tack on insurance and say you need an upgrade. Read any review written anywhere and you'll hear the same things.

******************* never rent from fox again i rented a Jeep when i got there they said all they had was *** with ****** miles on it if i wanted to wait for another one i would have a few hour wait so i up it. They tried to sell me gas that they say it was cheaper then other gas stations. Then they charged me 230 dollars for admin fees for using the toll . My toll charge was only 66 dollars. They have fees hidden in there contract so take time an read it very good. **************** at ********************** was terrible. Had to wait close to 1 hour to get to check out counter. Think very hard about reacting from fox. By the way i have rented from other car co. An they only charge for the toll not a admin. Fee.

would give zero stars if I could... pressured to upgrade to larger car then when we said no, they said they would complimentary ugrade us... but only since they didn't have a smaller SUV which we wanted. were given a gas guzzler and then lied about pre-purchase gas as they would prorate if tank was 1/2 full which it was. never received credit and now they are saying it was near empty. lied to us about needing toll pass which seems like they do to everyone. do not take toll pass - better to purchase your own. We're seasoned travelers so generally don't fall for scams but this wasn't even a scam - just outright lies. I though about recording the conversation but changed my mind. i would suggest this if ever dealing with Fox car rental. also not to mention the car they upgraded us to was a large SUV without a sideboard - we're both seniors and had difficulty getting in and out of the car. you can see why I would give them zero stars. we rented through a third party and in retrospect, we would only go through reputable as this ended up costing us way more than had we gone directly with well know company
