I worked for an investment firm that was sold to Macquarie Funds about 4 years ago. A portion of my 401(k) rollover account when I left my employer remained with them since they were a reputable firm. That was transferred to Macquarie when my employer was purchased. On August 4, 2025, I called Macquarie to liquidate the funds and send me the check as I was consolidating my retirement accounts. I never received the check. I have now called 3 more times. They now say I have a $0 balance, but I never received a check for my retirement savings. They are "investigating" where my check is, but I get this type of response every time I call. I need to get this money because I'm approaching retirement.

They overnighted me the check. Thank you for your assistance.

Following the passing of her spouse ****** ******* on 4/15/25, my mother ****** ******* and I contacted Delaware Funds by Macquarie about two *** accounts she and my father were joint tenants of. After a review of the accounts and instructions provided by Macquarie during a phone conversation, my mother and her broker ***************************** originally mailed in the non-retirement change of registration form, with all signatures and medallion stamps, in late May. At no point was she informed Macquarie needed a wet or original *********** mother was then informed in writing a few weeks later that Macquarie needed the ORIGINAL medallion stamp (rather than a copy). My mother and her broke ******************** then sent the original "wet" document (with original medallion stamps) via overnight delivery to ****************************************************************************** ... this was delivered and signed for on 6/16/25. We have proof of delivery. After several weeks of waiting, my mother and I called Ameriprise at ************ on 7/3/25 (spoke to ******** during which point the customer service agent said they had no record of the paperwork sent and would escalate internally, with an expected call back to my mother.Another week went by with no contact, despite such contact being promised. On 7/11, my mother and I contacted Macquarie again, speaking to a "********* *****", who also said he would escalate to the appropriate team, as well as a phone call back to my mother that day or by Monday 7/14 with an update. Again, no contact, despite being promised. The confirmation # of the proof of delivery was shared with ********* and confirmed as valid... *** Tracking # 1Z58W76A1398735761 This lack of follow up by Macquarie is, at best, an example of incompetence. My mother is legally entitled to these funds, and Macquarie is not releasing the funds to her financial broker as requested.
