    I am rejecting this response because:

    Think about this, a company contacts the public, talks them into their service 
     the public sends them $10,000, by their action they put the customer in a worse situation.

    Again, this company solicited me interstate as they admit. Great promises were made to help me with my tax situation which included them disparaging the current Tax consultant  I was working with and pointing out he was doing it all wrong and how successful they were. (Listen to their outlandish claim of the work they say they can complete.)  Let the public beware of calls from this company. Let the public beware of doing business with this company.  Their pitchman prayed on the fact that  my situation had taken so long with the previous tax consultant and they had a more robust team to get it done quicker.

    I gave they the required information including a POA.  In my case there was a deadline for a response which 4 corners knew about and they missed the deadline. When I would call it was either no answer or the person I needed to talk to was not available to discuss my case.  I made many calls as I need to satisfy the deadline and get this claim moving as they had described to me.  Their claim that I was not available is false.  Why would I not answer a phone call or call back on something I had paid a lot of money for and need to have completed with a deadline completed ?   As I had been working with 4 Corners  I found out the Tax consultant I had been working with was successful with completing my ex wifes claim for her half of the total claim.  4 Corners talked me into their program, ran down my tax consultant and my current procedure, missed a deadline that was in plain sight and set me back further than I was before I tried to work with them. I would not recommend this company who completely overpromised, took my money, set me back further than I was before I talked to them and now wants to keep my $10,000.  Why would they not return my money for putting me in a worse off position ?

    I'm glad that we are discussing this.

    We were initially contacted by the client in January of 2023.  We have a 2 week money back guarantee because during this time we are pulling personal information and setting up a strategy for our clients.  Then it takes time to go through the strategy and correspond with the ***.

    The client was contacted many times during this period and he didn't respond to us.  We filed ***** of ********* and started communicating with the *** on the client's behalf and we did not receive information from the client to correspond with the ***.  One of the main points of our agreement is that the client needs to correspond with us in a timely manner because everything is time based with the ***.

    Another point is that he cannot respond with the *** since we are the one representing him and he will not know how to say, how to say it and may get himself in more trouble.

    The client started corresponding with the *** and even went as far as started submitting his own paperwork to try and take care of it himself.  They had denied his request.  ATt his point, we had to withdraw our representation of him because he had voided the contract by not corresponding with us as his representatives and corresponding with the ***.

    We did not hear from him until November of 2023 (10 months alter) and again in February of 2024 (13 months later) to try to get a refund.  This surpasses our 2 week timeframe of a refund.

    Yes, it appears filing a complaint made the owner call and agree to do what I hired them to do. He required me to remove the complaint to move forward. It has been resolved at this point
