    On January 26, 2025, we hired Fantastic Movers for our move, and it turned out to be a significant mistake due to numerous issues:1. We experienced three reschedules.2. They arrived with two movers instead of the agreed three, causing delays.3. The truck they brought was smaller than needed, requiring two trips.4. Because of the smaller truck, much of our stuff was left behind, forcing us to make multiple trips over the next three days.5. They lacked proper documentation, which halted our move for an hour.6. We received no discount for any of the above issues 7. *** was rude and unprofessional over the phone.8. We were overcharged.9. Some items were broken due to careless handling.10. We had to pay for cleaners to clean our furniture, which got wet and dirty during the move.The timeline of events began at 1835, when we started being charged before anyone announced their arrival. The two movers arrived first, and after some confusion, a third mover showed up around 2055 to help finish loading. 2155 we get to the **********************. 2235 the discrepancies begin with not having updated insurance on the truck nor registration on their personal vehicle. My husband followed the mover to drop his car off at ******* and bring him back due to this. Then the movers background check popped up with a felony and wasnt allowed on post so my husband had to drive him back (undisclosed and unprepared). After this hour of security going through these checks and waiting on their valid paperwork, he third mover left and we got through the gate at 2330 having us finished at 0118. During the payment call, I discussed the discrepancies, emphasizing the extended delays caused by their errors. Jims demeanor became increasingly unprofessional when I requested a detailed breakdown of the charges and said he would deduct a measly 25mins. He then charged my husband $798.75 through Venmo; Which was an overcharge.

    On August 6, 2024 I hired Fantastic Movers to move me from one location to another 2 miles away.They sent a person to estimate the cost. I made sure he looked at everything that was packed in boxes and ready to go. He said it would take around 3 to 4 hours with 2 guys. after a couple of hours he said if I would agree to 2 more guys it would cost more per hour but it would get done faster. I reluctantly agreed One person left, so there were 3 guys loading. The owner/manager called around 11pm and requested payment for their time up to now.I paid him by credit card ******.. Not sure of the exact times We went to the Geddes house and unloaded. They suggested another 2 guys and another truck to go to the old house and finish what they did not load. He said it will be faster and cheaper as they were going to be several hours yet unloading. I reluctantly agreed. Later I looked out and saw a truck that looked like their truck parked up the street opposite. later it was announced that the truck was there and they were unloading. The truck they unloaded was exactly the same as the truck that was parked. One guy came to me and said "no matter how careful we were one mirror got broken. They finished unloading at 4 am. They called their boss who wanted immediate payment. I gave him my credit card information again for *****. The following morning I went outside and found the broken mirror parts in my next door neighbors front yard. I then found they had lost the wooden divider that goes in between the 2 mirrors on my pier headboard. I later found that they had broken off 2 of the hidden lights on the headboard. I called the owner and told him about the breakage he said I'm not going to fix it. I gave you a discount... discount, when? you can use that to pay for it. While unpacking i came across several broken glasses. At the time I just threw them away. While unpacking my dinnerware recently , I came across a large amount of breakage.

    The movers stole 2 guitars and a lockbox that contained passports, car titles and a coin collection $1200 $200 $500 Value. Contacted owner with no response.

    I hired movers to move my furniture and personal belongings on 5/31/2024.The company is not willing to pay for damages to my furniture, although the contract I signed said they would. The company is now making up language that is nowhere in the contract saying they only cover, structurally damaged furniture. Also not in the contract, they want me to pay a deductible for the insurance adjustor if the furniture damage is under $500. Now the company is claiming I didnt provide moving supplies for their movers, so its my fault. That language is also not in the contract. Company now says they will repair minor paint wall damage, which is against my apartment rules, and is only a very minor cost. But company is trying to avoid cost for significant damage to my mostly new furniture.

    Do NOT hire these movers. They must be using "bots" to write the positive reviews. They advertise a cost of $90/hr. What should have been a very simple, two-hour move (literally moving from one apt to another in the same complex) became a daylong nightmare. They pushed the move back 3 hours on the day of the move, completely broke a dresser, scratched a custom dining table, and scraped a brand new Babyletto changing table. The manager was extremely unprofessional when we called to complain and said that his insurance company *might* pay approx. $80 to cover over $1,000 in damages if we were willing to file paperwork and wait for weeks for it to possibly be approved. After one of the supposedly "experienced" movers cussed my husband out for pointing out the damages, he was fired over the phone and then cussed my husband out again. We had to wait *another* hour for a different mover to come and finish the job. At the end of the day, the manager reluctantly "comped" the move, but charged us for the truck and refused to cover the cost of the damaged furniture. We would say "you get what you pay for," but actually, these guys will walk away, and you will be stuck with hundreds of dollars in damages. DON'T DO IT.

    On June 6th 2023 Fantastic Movers provided cleaners to clean my previous residence. The cleaner ruined the owner's laminate flooring because he utilized the wrong cleaning solution. The owner was contacted and he sent a person over by the name of **** to view the damage. **** confirmed that the floor was ruined. *** was contacted by the owner with the estimates. The estimates to replace the flooring ranged between 12k-15k. Once the owner contacted *** with the estimates he hung up in her face. Fast forward to May 2024 and I have now received a summons to appear in court due to the damaged laminate flooring.

    The driver of the moving truck hit my new house with the truck and no efforts for reparations were made. My clothes and beds were also contaminated with cigarette smoke since the driver smoked like a chimney during the entire process of the move.

    I booked this moving company on the Thumbtack app in late June/early July for a late August ***** The price was clearly stated as $90 an hour for moving services- did not include any information about additional costs etc. Only stated the move would be $90 an hour and I provided the apt size and what furniture I had. I asked a few questions about how they handled the items and if I needed to provide anything additional and I was assured I did not. I received no further contact other than showing my move was booked via the app. On the day of the move, the movers did not show up. I had to chase down the owner to find out what was going on and he basically blew me off telling me he picked up another job. I was desperate and needed to move that day bc of my lease so tried to work around his schedule, which moved me from 11am to 4pm. The movers that showed up had no equipment- no gloves, no carts. Only one mover showed up for the first 45 minutes. I had to physically help these men move my things and I am short term disabled due to a hip injury. They took various phone calls during the move and did not wrap my furniture which was damaged.When I complained to the owner he screamed at me and physically threatened me and one of my friends trying to help the situation. He sent me aggressive text messages telling me to pay my bill. a very simple move ended up taking almost 4 hours bc the men had no equipment to move furniture from building to building (with elevators). The movers did not listen to instructions and ended up driving through the garage gate which destroyed it and almost fell on me and my car standing outside. This took another 45 minutes to address. When I asked the merchant to please credit me for 1 hour (30 min for the garage door incident when no work was being done and 30 minutes bc his workers had no equipment and I had to help) he screamed at me again to pay the bill and told his men not to leave until it was paid. I felt threatened and intimidated.

    5-28-23 Appt @ 8am didnt show up until after 10:30. Spoke with the owner after they were done in regard to the broken frame and destroyed picture, said he would make it right. 5-31-23 messaged that I was having a hard time finding the picture. No response. 6-13-23 messaged them that I had emailed the information from the artist website. Cost is $1500.00 for a matted and framed picture. Sent pictures of the damage again. 6-14-23 asked for an update he said give him 2-3 days. 6-20-23 asked for an update said they would have it 7-10-23 from Overstock. 7-10-23 I messaged that I was not seeing it on Overstock, said he would follow up with me. Told him he had until the end of July to replace it or we would go to court. They threatened me with not getting a anything and that I would end up paying more in court cost, told them not to threaten me. Told me I would get nothing if he filed an insurance claim. 7-25-23 I asked for an update, said he would follow up with me in the afternoon, never did. 8-1-23 told him I needed an update today never got one. 8-9-23 I asked for an update, he went off about passing this down to my daughter, I dont have kids, he said it was a family heirloom (this picture means the world to me, my mom bought it for me when I got my first house, that is why I have no receipt or invoice for how much it costs, I am just going off the artist's website), he has buried two daughters he wishes he could do the same. 8-23-23 sent a demand letter for the full $1500.00.

    I hired Fantastic Movers on Dec 2 2022 for a local move from *************** to **************. The movers were running up and down our stairs and broke the nose slips off of 2 stairs. I received confirmation from the owner/***** A that they will cover the repair costs, but they have not reimbursed me since. I provided the receipts and called multiple times, they finally answered on Yelp messaging requesting that I call them, but I asked to communicate over email to leave a record for both parties. Since then, they have not answered my calls and stopped reading messages on Yelp.
