On August 24, 2021, I had my concrete driveway replaced by *********************** of Azteca Construction and paid him $5550 to complete the project. In early 2023 I noticed my driveway starting to crumble (scale and flake). I should not be having this issue with a new driveway. Many of our neighbors have replaced their driveways before we did and have not had this issue. I contacted ***** in March of 2023 and it wasn't until September *************************************************************************************** He is willing to replace it but expects me to pay for it. ***** said the reason for the issue was due to the chemicals being used on the roads and the poor quality of concrete. Again, none of our neighbors are having this issue. I would like to point out too that my driveway probably receives less wear and tear than the average household. We do not park our cars on our driveway (we keep them in the garage), we have one small car and one small SUV, and do not use any heavy equipment on the driveway, such as a riding snow blower. Both my wife and work from home and don't drive every day, and especially not in the winter, therefore limiting the amount of chemicals that would be tracked onto our driveway, if that is even the cause. I would like my driveway replaced properly at no additional cost to me or I would like to receive a full refund of $5550.
