I unfortunately can not recommend this company.Its unfortunate that I am having to leave this review. *****, the owner is very unprofessional, disrespectful, cruel, has very poor costumer service skills. The property **************************, however was professional and kind when speaking with her. My family and I have lived in many places and have had a lot of experiences renting and being renters. I was told through text as well as a phone call that my family (myself, husband, and two small children) damaged and destroyed this property. We absolutely did not. I was accused of ruining the carpet, I was also told that no pets had ever lived in this apartment before me, which was a lie. That I broke off granite, I was told that my cat destroyed her chairs (I dont nor have I ever owned a cat). After getting in touch with the property manager it was in fact determined that the granite had been loose prior to my arrival and that the stains were in fact there before we arrived. As for the chairs, using words like destroyed and damaged were grossly over reacted statements. Unfortunately, i believe these scratches were also there long before I arrived as they do look like cat scratches but honestly I never noticed them because that is how unnoticeable they were, from the photos it looks like normal wear and tear you see in rentals. I am a very reasonable person and communication is key, if there were concerns I would have loved to address them in a professional manner and come to a resolution. I was made fun of by the owner when I expressed how I was in disbelief and was shaking because I was in shock at the things she was saying. I unfortunately have had to learn a lot from this experience and will do things much different going forward when renting short term leases. I can not and will not recommend this company, which is unfortunate, I hate to leave reviews like this. Put please save yourself the misery, and severe emotional distress that Ive had, and do not rent here.

AvenueWest manged Corp. Housing is one of 18 franchises in *******. We provide privately owned all inclusive short term (30 +day) homes to our traveling or relocating clients. Our clients are DOD, Non-profits, Amazon, Lockheed ******, ****** and military PCS or TDY just to name few. Our clients and tenants have exacting and high standards and so too does AvenueWest-COS. Our quality standards exceed industry expectations which helps explain AvenueWest success.I have owned and operated AvenueWest **************** since its inception in ****. It is our fiduciary responsibility to maintain the properties we manage, we are the eyes and ears for our investors. Unfortunately, damages can occur during a tenants lease and it is our job to determine cause, responsibility and remedy. When responsibility for damage is in question, we generally give the tenant benefit of the doubt however, some damage such as pet f**** and urine on carpets, it is obvious where responsibility lies. When it is determined that the damage or loss is the fault of the tenant, we document any damage or loss with photos and receipts which we forward to the tenant. We follow up with a phone call and more often then not the tenant was aware of the damages and had an expectation that their deposit would be used to remendy. Unexpectedly, ************** was unwilling to assume responsibility for her pet relieving its self on the carpet. Damages noted and documented after ************** stay include pet f**** and urine on and in the carpet, the vacuum was full of wet dog hair and ruined, the king ********* was stained in some kind of grease and ruined, the kitchen and bathroom countertops were damaged requiring a professional repairman. All these damages to a 800 sq ft apartment were well above normal wear and tear.It seems **************** only complaint is I hurt her feelings, I have no control how a person responds to me or how they choose to portray or perceive my intentions. I have no need to attempt to cheat or in anyway break the agreed upon terms of the AvenueWest lease agreement. I will however always conduct my business in a professional manner and will not apologise for remaining firm and steadfast in honoring the fiduciary I owe. I gave ************** opportunity to explain and discuss, she however choose to not accept responsibility her kids and pets did and instead chose to impugn me, my reputation and my company. Since anybody without any cause other than hurt feelings and a vedeta can post false and inflammatory reviews on the BBB website with impunity, Im forced to waste an hour of my valuable time responding to a lack of maturity and responsibility. This is my last and final response to this unsubstantiated and misinformation review.
