I purchased a DMS Teton 5 axis CNC. After months of delay the machine showed up. The machine was sitting on its main cable when the machine was unwrapped. DMS fixed this cable but we have had some bugs in the machine that are related. DMS has been out 3x to try to repair the machine and has replaced motors, replaced ball screws, replaced the tool touch off to the correct touch off tool that was described by the sales person when we agreed to pay for the 15k$+ option of ************ kit. The machine was also optioned with covers for the slides since we are a fabrication shop as well and we were worried about deposits from the shop work causing issues with the rails over time. The machine did not get any extra bellows or way covers and the machine only shipped with the covers they show on their website as the base machine. The machine did show up with weld splatter on the table and rails from where dms quickly filled some holes to relocate the safety rails around the tool changer. The machine showed up with loose bolts, and random hardware and tools inside of the machine. Small set screws have fallen out of the machine. The main issues are a error code, a z axis position and the remaining options that I paid for that I never received. The z axis position makes the machine entirely useless for CNC work and the company refuses to come collect their sloppily built CNC machine. The final issue is a code on the inverter that they have been able to reduce down to an intermittent issue but intermittent issues on a automatic machine means that you can not trust the machine to run when you need it. I have had to outsource and turn away work. There are other issues that we do no have space to talk about. DMS makes half hearted attempts at fixing the issue over email but they do not listen to me about the issues and do not treat me like they believe me. Having spent 280k$ on this machine I should not have to figure out how to finish building and repairing the machine myself.
