Summary: Builder will not repair leaking roof.I contracted CJ Custom Finishes (Lawny and *************************) to build a major addition to my property in Black Forest. They performed this work between July 2019 and October 2020. Here's the permit for their work: https://www.*****.org/Permit/Details?permitNo=M54870 Beginning in the fall of 2020, water has leak into the house from the roof in various locations. CJ Custom Finishes replaced several sections of roofing to address this in 2020 and 2021. During a heavy rain in September 2021, one of the sections they repaired (twice) leaked again and we notified them immediately. They promised to correct the issue, but have never come to repair the leak. We have called and texted dozens of times between Sept 2021 and May 2022 to schedule this work, but they repeatedly delayed or cancelled appointments. On May 24, 2022, I spoke with ************************* and he stated they "don't have the time or the money" to address this issue, and therefore will not repair the roof. For the record, they also have a remaining warranty list of (mostly cosmetic) issues they are refusing to address, but the leaking roof is my primary concern.I will be happy to discuss this or share any contract documents, etc that *** be helpful.
