- Additional Info:In June, 2022, BBB investigated Tralon Homes’ business practices. This investigation was prompted by large volume of complaints. There have been 31 total complaints against the business. Some examples are as follows:
•“At blue tape walk through and closing of the housing purchase, it was stated that the wrong stone work was on the exterior of the house. This was annotated on the blue tape walk through signed by the Tralon representative. This was also listed in a warranty claimed summited online to Tralon. It has been almost a year and no stone work has been completed or information returned in this matter. We are in the process of submitting additional warranty claims from a home inspection as well. It is our expectation that these new ones will go unresolved as well from this company.”
•“Purchased new build home with upgraded kitchen appliances. Paid for upgrades. At final walk thru, prior to close, observed and reported damage to the freezer door of fridge. Tralon promised to fix, NOT a warranty item because damage was observed prior to close. Tralon orders part. It arrives 8 months later and now appliance tech says we must pay for install, approximately $400. I told them that Tralon is responsible for the repair and so the appliance co (XXXXXXX) explained they wouldn’t do the repair and they took the door with them. Tralon homes has failed to return phone calls regarding this and other issues, specifically warranty concerns. Their phone message explains to file warranty requests online, but their online website says to call by phone. So, it’s a purposeful run-around to avoid responsibility for doing work that is actually covered under their 1 year warranty.”
On 7/5/2022 and 7/19/2022 BBB sent letters to Tralon Homes and multiple questions.
BBB did not receive a response.
BBB left 5 voicemails for Tralon Homes but as of 8/11/2022 we have not heard back from the business.
