    - Per permit records, this entity replaced the roof on our home in fall 2018, with permit issued on 10/24/2018. This work was performed when the previous owners of our home was in residence.- In October 2024, we had a leak issue causing water damage inside of our home, with resulting drying costs of approximately $2,000.- Insurance inspection in October 2024 identified that the source of the leak appears to be incorrectly/poorly installed chimney flashing. As this leak issue appears to be the result of improper installation, our insurance company is unwilling/unable to consider the damage covered for replacement under the policy. However, this damage still needs to be repaired.Requested resolution would be for entity to fund repair/replacement of chimney flashing, in order to remedy installation issues, as well as to reimburse for drying costs related to damage created as a result of the improper installation. As it appears that entity is no longer operational, funding of repair would appear reasonable to resolve.
