    I ordered a battery from ************************* (Newpriusbattery.com) on March 21, 2022. Paid in full with expected delivery May 10, 2022. When the delivery date came and went with no communication, I emailed for an update on June 1, 2022. **** responded on June 5, 2022. ******** shut down, it will be about a month. Since then I have tried to email and call with no response. When an order is placed, an account is created. My order still says Waiting Fulfillment.

    Customer has already been refunded and disputed charge with credit card company. Once a charge is disputed, we no longer communicate with the customer. Our products are backlogged on order and clearly marked as such. Giant red letters on the product page indicate that expected shipment times are just expected. Many things can and do happen inbetween. We ship in the order of first come first served.

    I am rejecting this response because:seller had two weeks to confirm they had processed a refund before I filed a chargeback. Seller refused to provide this confirmation, necessitating the filing of a chargeback. At no point did I harass the seller as they allege, I merely requested information about my order, accepted the refund offer, and then sought confirmation that the refund was being processed.

    Ship dates are estimates and backlogged. There is giant red font on the product page, bigger than anything else, that says this exact thing. Shipping dates are estimates based off of estimated availability at the time of ordering and the estimated volume we receive. This complaint along with continuous and harassing emails, order messages, and everything else from the customer are ignored as they received a response when asked. Nothing has changed since and it is a waste of time and resources to continue engagement. Customer has already filed a charge back even though we offer refunds. Once a charge back is issued, we ban the customer and cease all communications directly with them. Only through the payment processor or bank. This particular customer requested a refund and we processed one. A couple weeks later they issued a charge back. We are not responsible for the length of time it takes for their bank to refund them money and as of now we are out twice the order amount waiting for their bank to rectify the mistake.
