    They are the worst management company. I waited 3 months after move in for them to fix a plumbing issue with a child in the house and Colorado law states 48hrs. The carpet had pet waste on it upon move in that I was told would be cleaned and wasnt as well as a toilet full of human waste since it was also broke. Rent was always paid on time and one time due to their app that they use to collect rent rejected the payment and they waited on purpose 6 days to update the app and add an additional 110 in fees then blocked me from making any further rent payments. They do not answer nor return any calls, emails, request on app. I tried from 9am till 5 to get someone to respond so I could make my rent payment to have nothing but silence and still no reply. The place was dirty upon move in and they did not have all keys handy. I will be contacting the owners as this will all fall back on them with the state investigation of the plumbing issues not being fixed. And the treatment of the tenants of the property. Now after reading reviews which are horrible I am worried about getting my deposit back which is $2000 and being a single parent its hard to replace that amount

    Bergan managed the home I rent. When reported mold in our bathroom, they acted fairly quickly. However, nothing has been done for 2 months since the mold was mitigated, and we do not have a working tub/shower, or even a window covering, for our upstairs bathroom. Our downstairs shower can only be used for 5 min at a time with a floor fan because they never finished that one either. We repeatedly asked for updates through their portal, emailed many times, and have heard nothing, so we withheld rent. No one answers when I call and no one returns my voicemail. We just got a notice to pay within 10 days and alerting us we now have a late fee (3/8/25). I will also bring this up to the housing authority, but I felt their complete lack of communication should be brought to your attention as well. They have set up their operation so that they cannot be contacted directly, and do not respond to messages I leave. They have also charged us for repairs due to structural issues, which we paid because we don't have proper documentation from the contractors who assured us the problems were unavoidable. We are happy to put March rent in an escrow account until the bathroom finishing is at least underway. Ideally, I would hope for at least a partial discount on rent as well. I refuse to pay the late fee as I notified them of our intention to withhold rent 3/4.

    I am writing to file a complaint against Bergan Realty, the company that "manages" the property **** ************* in ******. During my lease, they violated state law numerous times.- On March 9 I submitted a request in their portal because I was beginning to notice a mouse infestation. It took them almost a month to address my request. In that time I was seeing upwards of a dozen mice per day. They were running rampant in my home, chewing through my things, eating my food, defecating all over the home, etc. All of which was communicated to the management company. I didn't receive even a communication until April 3. The mice were a health issue until I moved out in June of 2023. Pictures of the mice, damage and messages attached, all of which were also shared with Bergan.- March 9, 2023 I communicated the laundry machine had been destroyed by the mice. It was never replaced as of July 2023 and no compensation was offered.- I reported water damage in August 2021. Action to fix the leak was denied. In 2023 the ************** inspected the property and found it wasn't up to code, water was in the floors/walls and there was mold.-The lease I signed said the property had Air Conditioning which it did not.- In June of 2022 I reported that the bedroom window was stuck open (it had previously been reported in August 21 as non functional but ****** neglected to fix it). They refused to address this and the window was fully open from June 10 to July 10 during the heat of the summer. This was not only unbearably hot during a heat wave, it allowed in lots of pests and was a safety concern.In the midst of my lease they gave *********************************************************************************************************************************** stipend for a hotel. They dramatically misquoted the construction timeline. I requested to terminate my lease and they followed up to charge me the remaining rent. They also kept my security deposit.

    We apologize if there were maintenance issues.  We always address habitibility issues as soon as possible.  If those demands were not met, I apologize however we cannont refund $34,000.00.

    Apologies that I missed the initial correspondence. The business has failed to address any of my concerns or offer any kind of rectification of the issue. My complaint remains and I hope it will be public for other people to read and know to avoid this absolutely fraudulent business.

    This is the worst management company I have ever rented from. They broke the lease countless times, were extremely negligent to the property and are withholding money from me. I was forced to move out in the middle of my lease due to their negligence. They did not provide alternate accommodations or put me up in a hotel and I was given 48 hours notice. Now, they are with holding my security deposit. This is the scummiest business in all of ******. GIVE ME MY SECURITY DEPOSIT before I take legal action.

    This is a quote on their website: ***************************** We promise to provide excellent communication and full transparency to owners. Dont find yourself stuck with a property manager who doesnt return calls or answer your questions, both quickly & efficiently." They do not get back and answer your questions quickly. If this is a sign of how they do buisness, I would not recommend renting from them or using them as a property manager. I'm not sure how they're still in buisness

    I was emailed a renewal offer at the beginning of July due to my lease agreement will expire 08/31/2022. I agreed to a rental increase of $1300 a month for a one year lease agreement on 07/29/2022. On 08/10/2022 I am emailed again to say the landlord wants to raise the renewal price to $1450. I have spoken to legal counsel and confirmed this is against ******** Renters Law.

    There was not legaly binding agreement.  The owner has a right to decide what the rent will be.  If she doesnt like it she can move.  There is no lease in place.
