  I bought an oxygen concentrator for my wife from American Medical Supplies and Rentals. I am on a very limited income and have no insurance. So I asked if I could make payments, they said they could refer a finance company ************* that would loan me the money and I could make payments through them. So I did hoping I could help my wife so she wouldn't have to carry around those annoying oxygen tanks. So I got a loan for $2350.00 we received the oxygen concentrator and it did not perform as stated by the company they said the battery would last 4 hours and it only lasted 20 minutes. My wife could not sniff hard enough to activate the oxygen flow so I called the company, they said that for $500 more I could get a unit that would run on constant flow but there was no way I could afford that so I just wanted to return it. We purchased it on the 21st. of April and sent it back on the 30th, because we had to wait for paperwork from them. I guess in fine print somewhere it says that there's a 7 day return policy, or you'd have to pay a 25% restocking fee. So I was over by 2 days which I would think would be a Saturday and Sunday, but they say they're open 7 days a week. So yeah, they're gonna charge me a $600.00 restocking fee. I can't believe they get away with this s*** They are taking advantage of people who need oxygen to survive, they should be ashamed of themselves. I don't know how they can sleep at night. I would give them a negative five star if I could. Please tell people about this scam so they don't have to lose money and disappoint there loved one like I have. Thank you!!!

  May 29,2024 Not at all truthful.Received a concentrator not boxed with comment not to be concerned about it.It is how they mail out.Battery did not last.It was Underwarranty I was allowed a NEW battery.I went through their process of returning the battery to them.Innogen had told me to copy out the serial number.I did.I returned to American Medical only to receive in return same used battery.My belief is so is Inogen 4.Claim they have buy back.Lie!They keep telling you to call back!Latest is **** said oh yah thats coming June 1st.Call Back.I told him I have been calling Back for 8 months!He said well let me check.Left came back gave me the same answer NOT buying back Inogen 4s.Now.The last ***** times I called it was oh we have too many Inogen 4s now.Call Back!I and others,have been swindled,lied too,rudely treated.All in out the poorest life experience costing $1999.of my life.I was told they were buying back for $800. Last fall.Today he told me to try to sell it myself.Never used it!I am a Senior Citizen battling multiple health issues.These Salesmanneed know What goes around comes around and that their dishonesty to make and keep a buck while fast talking the vulnerable will be duly compensated.********** put one star because computer told me too!

  Inogen G4 purchased without help from insurance. $2400. it broke down 3 times. Sent it back and they fixed it. then It blew a fuse in my car, It became difficult to get a connection to charge or run the device. I talked tot a tech and he led me down the path of the investigating the issue. I am a competent machanic. it turns out the ************* is burnt from poor connection at the motherboard because a poorly designed mounting design. The complany the tech worked for wanted 950 for a repair. This Company AMM wanted 375 prepaid. without the machine to investigate a repair with inogen. I had already called inogen an they would not sell me a mother board , they would not take it for service . American medical then told me that it was too old by serial number. Its a 2019 model and it only has 274 hours on it. They tell me I have to buy another one because they will not provide repair parts or service for it. . Not good.

  Had simply go mini for 3 years and the four pronged plug began to come apart. I babied it for at least a year before it stopped working altogether. Very poor design for the unit! I ordered a new one and was told it would arrive within 3 days. (You pay shipping!). It was New years weekend so I expected an extra day. When I checked back, it hadnt even left the facility in ********. Another wait! Would not recommend nor replace this with another similar model. Will find an alternative next time.
