DirectLink was great for me for over 5 years. *** took over 1-2 years ago, all downhill. Regular outages, and always excuses blaming something out of their control. Tech support hold times are now 30 minutes instead of 5 or so, they do not return calls or emails in any sort of a timely fashion if at all. They usually blame weather, 10 drops of rain disrupts their system. Yesterday they blamed 20-yr old equipment. It's YOUR equipment! Unreliable at best, drops calls and online meetings regularly. Just moved to ******, much better reputation from several users I know. If that's no good, then Starlink. BAM, you may now respond with your "so sorry for the inconvenience" and the usual litany of excuses. Bad service is usually a reflection of bad management.

I would like to take a few minutes and recognize one of your outstanding employees, ***** **** arrived a couple of minutes early for the appointment. I was beyond impressed with ****'s professionalism and technical knowledge. He explained everything in detail, took care to use vocabulary for a lay person ensuring when I'm on my own, I have a good working understanding of how this equipment is supposed to work. Also, I really appreciate working with people who are proud of their employer and exhibit pride in their own work. To me, its nice to see a young person recognize that they are cared for by their employer and have a vision for their career path. **** is a tremendous asset to your company and I hope you can find a way to recognize him for his outstanding service. One thing I would suggest is considering offering an add on service to help the homeowner reconnect their devices to the new router.

Bam Broadband is fantastic. All these reviews about them breaking sprinklers or something is not Bam, it's a contractor laying the fiber, which may be for other internet providers as well. Their service has been fantastic in the nearly a year that I have had it. When there's an issue, I get right through to someone that can help me.

Since BAM Broadband was acquired from Directlink, service has gone out consistently. Lately, internet connection is out on a daily basis. Half day outages and working from home is impossible. Completely unacceptable. Do not recommend at all.

This is the worst internet service provider. I wish Direct Link was never sold to this BAM nonsense. Random unexplained outages, nonexistent customer service, or terrible excuses for outages. My favorite is thunderstorms in northern ****** some how take out the service provided in ****** or *************. Make it make sense. There is no excuse. Toddlers could build a better network.

Since Bam Broadband took overt Directlink all we have had is outages and issues and when you call the only thing you can do is leave a message. No personal call back maybe you'll get an email. But, when it comes time for the monthly bill they want you to pay the full amount. They don't take in that people work from home and everytime it goes out it it is costing the customer. I have fiber to the home and there should almost no outages but there are outages all the time. This is all caused within the office, not the fiber to the home. The next thing is the rates for new customers is lower and the speed is more. you would think with the c*** service they provide that they would just up the speed to level of what they are offering others. Hoping maybe the new owners will do something or even call like they really care for their customers!

Worst internet company literally EVER! I see multiple reviews with complaints about service sucking since switching their name from DirectLink to BAM with their excuse its been that way, just a name change, but nothing else changed. BUT NO IT HASNT. EVER SINCE THEIR NAME SWITCH TO BAM BROADBAND MY INTERNET HAS GONE OUT SO MANY TIMES I CANT COUNT. *** complained and put in so many tickets since and all I get are apologies and excuses, BUT THEIR SERVICE HAS NOT IMPROVED. I HATE THIS COMPANY SO MUCH AND WILL BE FINDING AN ACTUAL INTERNET PROVIDER THAT PROVIDES SERVICE INSTEAD OF ******** EXCUSE AFTER ******** EXCUSE! I hope you go out of business. BAM!

Since making the name change to BAM Broadband, weve gone from a couple of short outages with notification from ********** in a year to weekly, longer outages requiring that we call their overseas call center to be told of a network outage in Colorado that effects us - nothing more helpful. BAMs excuses in answer to other reviews here dont help explain the increase in outages and decrease in customer engagement or service. Whether theyre expanding on the cheap or just doing a poor job of maintaining what they have, theres no excuse for all of these outages for what we pay for **************** in *********.

Their service for internet is always down, since they took over from Directlink, I have never received the speeds they promised and it took them over 3years to send a technician to my home to remedy the INSTALLATION WHICH WAS NEVER CORRECTED UNTIL MY SON GOT INVOLVED.

Since the name change to Bam things have gone down hill. Service seems to be down every day for minutes to hours. Service down for hours in the middle of the day for someone one that works from home doesnt work. Get the same response everytime I call. A maintenance went bad. No idea of when service will be back. Fiber is coming close but in the mean time I think I will look at starlink. Any service would be better than what Im getting now.

Hi *****, Thank you for reaching out. We sincerely apologize and understand the frustrations you are experiencing as we continue to build out our network in ****** and surrounding areas. BAM Broadband has owned DirectLink for over 2 years, so the owners have not recently changed. We just changed our local company name to align with the parent companys name. BAM Broadband plans to continue to offer the same great products and services that DirectLink always has and we will continue to expand our footprint to offer services to more customers. However, just like other internet providers, our all-fiber network can also be affected by various network disruptions.  When disruptions occur, we work diligently to identify the cause and restore service to customers.
