Our deck was over twenty years old and needed to be replaced. After speaking to a few contractors we selected ** based on his communication and responsiveness. His quote was around the same ballpark as others but his promised time of delivery was better than the others. The deck was demoed and removed quickly and the new project kicked off. During the project we had issues that we raised with ** and were told they were not issues or would be fixed. After the laborers said they were done ** ghosted us and said he saved us $500 from his contract amount and never spoke to us again. The deck is not level, sits two full inches below the original structure creating an unsafe step into the house. The steps created are too short creating safety concerns getting into the house. The railings are not square that were installed and we were told they dont do fascia at the end of the project. The put some coverings on the edges to appease us, but after some research we learned there are products that actually do the job we wanted. Amongst other issues the trex decking when installed had screws that were not pre drilled into the boards and they were not covered or sealed, boards split due to not pre drilling any of the areas first and seams do not match across the surface. After spending $10,000 we now have three estimates to repair his work from 5-7k each.We have emailed AJ asking for repair and assistance with no response.

On Oct. 1st, 2024, ** ********* owner of PEAK ********************************** Came to evaluate replacing the carpet and hardwood floors with vinyl flooring for the total of ****** square feet, and baseboard replacing. The asking price was $9000 labor only including leveling for some places in the house. he was claiming that the job will be professionally executed, and we will be so happy of the results because according to him his company is a 5-star rated.Since day one we started to address some concerns for him about the work and sent some pictures of many places that not done properly also the leveling was not as promised, there are many gaps under the vinyl we feel while walking but he was upset and responded that not to rush and let the workers finish and then he will walk the job and then point out concerns. The workers caused damages to our property and furniture during the job as well, and communication with them was nearly zero, because they speak only Spanish. On Friday Oct. 4th we asked my husband's cousin to stay with the workers, because i had to go pick up the kids from school and my husband had to go back to his work. The owner ** came to the house without calling me or my husband. The Cousin was aware of the situation, and he told him about the concerns we addressed but he refused to walk around and check, he did not contact any of us to address the issues he got mad at my husband's cousin and he told him that the product they chose was trash, and we're wondering why he accepted the job if it's a trash? then gathered the workers and left the property without finishing the job. Also noticed some missing equipment that belongs to us such as 2 hammers and nail box for the nail gun that we paid for. We're receiving messages from him to complete the payment, or he will start the lien process.our house still in a mess, my 9-year-old son sleeps in our daughter's room, he is allergic to dust and takes prescribed medication. will send pics. by email due to size

This company was hired to provide a home renovation that began on 8/1/24. Lack of communication, poor quality workmanship & unprofessional behavior caused me to fire this **************************** subcontractors. A drywall contractor quit & threatened to sue this company and put a lien on my home. Another contractor showed up at my home unexpectedly asking for me to write him a check for $7,000 that he was apparently owed by ***********************, owner of the company I hired. Contractor work is sub-par & they are unable to complete projects including siding, fireplace, door trim & painting. Another company had to be hired to replace the siding & another contractor will need to be hired to complete their work. The owner of the company left the country during my renovation & was not available to me, the client. He left his son in charge who called the police on me because he needed his tools out of my garage. The contractors ruined my furniture by not covering them during the construction. They also damaged a brand new dishwasher & have not replaced it. My appliances were not covered during renovation & were so filthy that it took me hours to clean the *********************

Customer: You have the wrong **********************. There are numerous Peak Constuction's in ******. My husband who owned the company passed away several years ago and we closed the company. BBB, please note that we have not been accredited for years and there are NO records that show we have done any business for years! PLEASE WITHDRAW THIS COMPLAINT, WHICH IS AN ERROR. It is a stain on the good reputation Peak Construction Company LLC and I resent that you selected us without figuring out you were wrong!
