            - DATE of first transaction: Sept 20, 2019 - LAST promised date to provide service: Aug 2020 :- SEPT 20, 2019: I wrote check to Whitney Roofing for $5500, for materials to replace roof on property at 1050 Tibby Trail, Westcliffe, CO 81252 - CHECK cashed Sep 20, 2019 by Zackery Whitney at Sunflower Bank, Canon City - WORK scheduled to be done October 2019. - WORK didn't begin as planned, but in Jan 2020, I was assured by Zack Whitney, that I would be scheduled as soon as he recovered from some recent surgery. - WORK didn't happen & with Covid lockdowns, I finally made contact again in Aug 2020, when I was told I was on the books for 2nd week of September 2020. - AGAIN the work did not happen. - SINCE that time, multiple calls have not been returned: 719-371-5496 - BUSINESS number listed on website does not have mailbox to leave a message; email has not been answered. - TRIED to reach Zack's dad, James Joseph Whitney, business owner, 719-671-7922; no response - THIS IS THEFT: $5500

            We gave this business a deposit for work to be completed in November 2020. The business owner then gave excuse after excuse, promise after promise, and never completed the work. We repeatedly asked for a refund with no response. We went to his home, saw him through the window, and he sent his children to lie for him and say he was not home. I do not recommend working with this individual. He has since ghosted us, kept our money, and continues to fleece others without remorse.
