I had a job interview for a position with Vail Resorts in ************, and I simply asked about a housing stipend. They said no housing stipend was available, and almost immediately ended the interview simply because I asked about one.The overall trashiness that I experienced from the HR person was truly staggering, and I found it very unethical to eliminate my chances for the job simply because I asked about a housing stipend in a very expensive resort town.

If you Read www.vailresorts.com/about-us page, they claim their mission is to Do Right by Act with integrityalways do the right thing, knowing it leads to the right outcome.? **** doesn't offer any consistent or viable process to actually allow someone to opt out of auto renewal of ski passes & won't confirm your choice to opt out with any written confirmation, via mail or email. **** does literally nothing but dodge & evade doing the right thing for those who have injuries & paid for their medical bills AND gave money to **** for a pass "product" they can't use without much chance of getting any funds back. Serve ************* with service to create Experiences of a Lifetime .... "The only experience they provide is by being a sham of a company to deal with when it comes to getting any type of customer service in dealing with issues they created & ********** myriad of customer service people drain your energy as if they were having to pay you themselves out of pocket for your lost earnings for a product you can't use. Drive Value - (to ****'s bottom line of revenue by automatically renewing passes w/o actual written consent from the buyer. Instead **** / EPIC pass sets the default to "ON" for "auto ****** ******* is no way to delete your payment information before being charged - but you can update it with new information ). One meaning of the word vail means to lower often as a sign of respect or submission - the only thing consumers do not know is that vail and its management company expect you to submit to their annual charge of ski pass products without complaint or ability to make a change but forever until death or your credit card account ceases to exist. Another meaning of vail is to descend; lower - and any time you give money to this company through their passes it is to lower your standard for how you want to be treated for your $$. ****Buyer Beware - Unethical Automatic Charging Practics"

By mistake purchased 2 passes for myself, a 4 day pass and a season pass, before the season opened. They would not transfer and add my 4 day pass to my husband's 4 day pass who was already a member of my household. **************** is located in ***************, could hardly understand a word she said.

Just a really bad business from customer satisfaction side. The ********************** is a convoluted scheme that is insane in complexity, and implementation. Technologically, it took me several hours to set up the passes for five people. The account didnt work for one of them, and had to call their ***** call center, which was extremely loud and unable to barely hear. Only after 45 minutes on the call, I was finally able to get the fifth pass to work. And this all having to purchase two months in advance. I will definitely try to avoid **** resorts in the future. The prices without the pass are insanely high at more than $250 per day. Essentially, **** has gone to a model in which they provide bogus high internet and day prices in order to funnel you into their convoluted scheme. What a waste of time for the consumer.

Wanted to upgrade pass from restricted to unrestricted. Submitted online request via their website on 01/31. Got an email response on 02/01 telling me to call their phone number so someone could help me with this. Called them at 3:00 on 02/01 and a woman confirmed that she was going to upgrade my pass, took my credit card and said she would send me a confirmation email. I wanted to upgrade two more passes, she asked for the names but no other information. At 4:00 I called back because I had no email confirmation or charge and was confused that she didnt need more info on the other passes. The guy I spoke to said they couldnt upgrade because the cut off was 01/31. That information was not posted online nor was it communicated to their own employees, two of which said on 02/01 that they could do it. He said I could buy day passes instead for a 20% discount.

Similar to others, the passes never come. Impossible to get any help. Prices change on whims. You have to call to stop the autorenew and that can be a huge hassle. The customer service is far from stellar. If you love to ski/board at their resorts and know exactly what you want it may work for you, but if you are doing it for the first time or wanting to try it out, spend the time to make sure you know what you want/need and see if it's worth it. They are little to no help and they seem not to care much about your experience.

I order passes previous years but this year is crazy. Ordered passes 16 Nov and 5 jan still nothing. **************** ***** and they just tell you we will mail them. Can't say when or anything. I ordered 2 months in advance so I don't have to stand in lines but looks like I will be. I emailed them several times and no reply. Logged on line nothing. No one can tell you anything just we will mail them. Might be last time using them. The customer services call center is completely incompetent. confirmed the names and shipping address multiple times with the agent and STILL Nothing almost 2 months later. I agree Why get a pass if you still have to stand in the long lines at the resort with everyone else?

Is there a "zero stars" review available? I'm also a victim of their auto renew SCAM! $3.2K wasted, and they won't issue a refund when my family needs have completely changed in 2022. I saw the charge to my CC just yesterday...called today to ask what was going on...auto renew was stuck on. They charged my CC and won't refund anything, despite the fact that I was willing to buy a couple of passes, instead of the 4 that were auto renewed. UNBELIEVABLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Hello ******************,Thank you for taking the time to reach out and express your concerns regarding Epic pass and **** Resorts. They are aware that you have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they apologize for your frustrations. Your feedback and your position are both respected and valued. They understand that you were not aware of the Auto Renew enabled on your familys account until after you were charged the full amount for four Epic passes. You reached out to cancel the passes, or cancel a couple of the passes, however they informed you that your passes could not be cancelled or refunded. They are sorry for the frustration this has caused and for any miscommunication or confusion. As you have been advised, your familys passes were enrolled in Vails Auto Renew program. Based on their records, **** determined that auto Renew was enabled online at the time passes were purchased for the 21/22 season. They also confirmed that email reminders regarding initial deposits and the final balance charges were sent to the email address on file linked to the head of house. After review of your account, they determined that email address was *********************** and email reminders were sent beginning in March 2022. In addition to a list of household members enrolled in Auto Renew, these emails also provided contact information for guests who wished to cancel Auto Renew prior to initial deposits being charged on May 17th. They recognize that you did not intend to renew passes for all four family members and they are truly sorry for your frustrations. However, Epic pass products are non-refundable once a deposit has been charged. Although they cannot assist with refunding the unwanted passes, **** has included Epic Coverage with all passes for the 22/23 season. Epic Coverage is included at no additional cost and provides coverage for qualifying personal events (e.g job loss, personal illness, injury, etc.). You are welcome to review a detailed list of qualifying events as well as the terms and conditions of Epic Coverage by visiting https://www.epicpass.com/policies?tc_1=1. If you believe that you and/or your family have a qualifying event, you can submit your request for a refund by calling ************** or by submitting an online form at ?https://intake.sedgwick.com/u/****.We certainly understand your frustrations and we are sorry for any challenges this has posed for your family. Unfortunately, per Vails standing policies, Epic passes that are renewed through the Auto Renew program or purchased manually are non-refundable unless a refund is approved through Epic Coverage. **** is consistently reviewing and improving upon their standing policies and procedures and your feedback as valued guests is greatly appreciated throughout this process. If you do choose to request a refund through Epic Coverage, they hope that it works out to a positive outcome for your family.

Agree with posters here. Very deceptive business. I contacted when renewal was coming up. Thought I cancelled. Just saw the charge pending on my CC 3 months later. They say they can't cancel. BE AWARE!!!!

Hello **************,We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and to express your concerns regarding **** Resorts and Epic pass. **** is aware that you have reached out and they apologize for your frustrations. Your feedback is greatly valued as is your position as an Epic pass-holder.They understand that you have been charged for a pass that you had not intended to renew for the 22/23 season and that you believed you had opted out of their Auto Renew program in time to cancel the charge. **** was able to verify in their records that they received your request on August 10th to cancel your pass. They also confirmed that you have been removed from Auto Renew for all future seasons. Unfortunately, the deadline to cancel Auto Renew for the 22/23 season was May 15th and they could not cancel your pass for the current season. They apologize for any confusion which lead to your frustrations.**** Resorts did send email reminders to guests enrolled in the Auto Renew program beginning in March 2022 regarding the upcoming renewal. These email reminders included a list of each account member enrolled in the program as well as contact information for those who wished to cancel prior to the opt out deadline. **** was able to verify with their marketing team that these emails were successfully sent to the email address linked to your Epic pass account. As you are aware, Epic pass products are non-refundable once a deposit has been made. This is addressed in the pass purchase and Auto Renew policies which are published on epicpass.com. Although **** cannot cancel your current pass, they did include Epic Coverage with all pass products. The Epic Coverage policy, which is included at no additional cost, covers qualifying personal events (e.g. job loss, illness, injury, etc.). A full list of qualifying events is included in the Epic Coverage terms and conditions which are also available on epicpass.com. You are welcome to review these details and if you determine that you have a qualifying event, you can submit a refund request by calling ************** or by visiting ?https://intake.sedgwick.com/u/****.?**** truly does value your feedback and they respect your frustrations and your position. They assure that they are constantly working on improving their standing policies and procedures in order to provide the best experience for their guests and they will absolutely reflect on your comments as they do so. They regret that they are unable to assist with your request for a refund but, if you choose to pursue a refund through Epic Coverage, they hope that it works out to a positive outcome for you and for your family.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. I used to work for **** and loved the company but I cannot believe how bad my service has been. I put a down payment down for an epic local pass earlier this year but no longer have the funds to pay for it. I know I can't get my deposit back so I asked if I could just cancel that pass as it was not paid for yet and buy an Ohio pass. They said this is not possible and you will just have to pay for it. They're happy to do the paperwork to upgrade your pass but refuse to help change a pass. I asked to speak to a manager and the lady said "no, no one else is here and if you call back in you will just get the same response". It is so disappointing to see how **** has become such a money hungry corporation and not care about its customers or former employees.

Hello **************,We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and to detail your concerns regarding your experience with **** Resorts. **** Resorts is aware that you have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they apologize for your frustrations. They certainly understand and respect your position and the greatly value the feedback you have provided. Your history as a **** Resorts employee is also valued. We understand that you have requested to downgrade your 22/23 Epic Local pass to an Ohio pass prior to the remaining balance being charged. **** informed you that they are unable to downgrade passes but are willing to assist with upgrading if needed. Due to conflicting information, you purchased an Ohio pass, in full, prior to requesting to cancel the Epic Local pass, again prior to the remaining balance being charged. **** indicated that passes are also non-refundable and that they cannot cancel the Epic Local pass despite not having paid the full price. While **** apologize for any confusion, they did clarify that pass products are both non-refundable and unable to be downgraded once purchased or once a deposit is made. The non-refundable status of Epic pass products is addressed in the pass purchase policy which is presented at the time guests purchase their pass and is published on epicpass.com. As refunding a pass is required to downgrade, **** has verified that they are unable to downgrade passes outside of a 72-hour buyers remorse period. They are aware that you purchased another pass in addition to the Epic Local pass. While they cannot cancel the Epic Local or downgrade it, they are able to cancel and refund the secondary **** Epic pass that was purchased on September 4th. If you would like to cancel that pass, please reach out to **** Resorts directly. While they respect your position and your criticism, unfortunately they are unable to make exceptions to their standing policies. Although they cannot cancel the original pass you purchased, **** did include Epic Coverage with all pass products for the 22/23 season. Epic Coverage policy is free for all pass holders and covers qualifying personal events (e.g.?job loss, illness, injury, etc.). You are welcome to review the terms and conditions of this policy which are also published on epicpass.com. If you determine that you do have a qualifying event, you are welcome to submit your refund request by calling ************** or by visiting:?https://intake.sedgwick.com/u/****.As we said, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to reach out and express your concerns. **** Resorts assures that they will review your feedback as they continue to work on improving their policies to provide the best experience for their guests. If you do choose to pursue a refund through Epic Coverage, we hope that it works out to a positive outcome.
