My family and I have been subject to misleading information and false promises at the hands of Breckenridge Grand Vacations and their employees, and we are seeking your assistance in resolving this matter.Our experience began on 7/24/14 , when we purchased a timeshare unit. The sales presentation was filled with assurances of wonderful vacations and potential returns on investment. However, our experience over the years has been marked by disappointment and financial burden. We have consistently encountered issues. Despite paying more than double the initial maintenance fees, we have never been able to book a stay. This raises serious concerns about the purpose of these fees and the transparency of the management's practices.Our purchase was a result of attending a mandatory presentation in exchange for a discounted hotel offer. During this presentation, your saleswoman, ******, presented a rosy picture of the timeshare experience. We were led to believe that by signing the contract, we would have guaranteed yearly stays in Breckenridge. However, this promise has remained unfulfilled due to a lack of availability, even when attempting to book far in advance. ******'s representations included the assertion that this purchase was an investment opportunity in a thriving area. She suggested that renting out the timeshare could offset maintenance costs and yield profits. These claims have proven to be entirely false, as we have been unable to rent out the unit successfully, and the increasing maintenance fees have become an excessive financial burden.Our decision to sign the contract was influenced by high-pressure sales tactics and misinformation. We were rushed through the signing process and discouraged from asking important questions. Critical information, such as our legal right to rescind the contract within 5 days, was not provided. This lack of transparency and the coercive nature of the sales presentation are deeply concerning.
