On 2/8/2022 I called the business "Modis" in Breckenridge, CO to make a reservation for my party of 14 for my upcoming wedding on 9/27/2022. The gentleman on the phone took the details for my reservation and took my card information over the phone to pay for the $280 required to hold my table for 14 and I was told at the time that this charge would be voided when we arrived for our reservation. I would love to say we had the opportunity to dine at Modis, but we did not since on 9/25 we were walking through town and posted on Modis's front door saying they would be closed until 9/28 meaning we would be unable to dine on 9/27. I apologize for the poor quality of image, I was very upset and the sign being behind glass made it very difficult to photograph. I immediately tried calling the restaurant and left a voicemail. I also sent an email to "*******************" requesting a refund for the $280 that was paid to hold our table. I have attempted to reach out to the Business numerous times through both phone and email. An employee gave me the phone number for "Terryn", the owner, but those attempts to reach out also went unanswered. We are not the only group to have their reservation not upheld as evidenced by others reviews on ******. I have attempted to get this charge credited my bank, but unfortunately ****, the booking software used on 2/8/2022 by the restaurant to book my reservation is under the impression that this reservation was kept and services were rendered. This is because Modis never canceled the reservation in their software as I continued to receive emails reminding me of my reservation and thanking me for dining with them, which I certainly did not as I had to find another last minute arrangement for my group. I am looking to just have this addressed by the restaurant and get my $280 refunded. I do not ask anything more, I just simply want my money back since services were not rendered by Modis.
