    I purchased TurboTax Premier 2024, a tax filing software from Big Home Tax on 3/29/2025. A couple of weeks later when I tried electronically filing my federal and state taxes, I encountered a software error with their program. I called a ******** representative for support and they informed me that the license key provided by ********************** was invalid and cant be used to file my taxes. Considering that was the last day to file my taxes I had to pay again for a new license key from TurboTax. Later, I contacted Big Home Tax to issue a refund for the invalid license key they provided but they refused to do so. I am seeking a full refund of my original payment. I also suspect they illegally sell the same license code to multiple customers, causing undue harm to innocent civilians and the ******** brand

    I ordered software online from Big Home Tax. The software key for activating the software did not work. I contacted Big Home Tax via text (they have no telephone support). They did not respond. I entered a TrustPilot review of my experience. Eventually, someone responded to my text. They issued me a new activation code which also did not work. I gave them the error codes 607 and 605. They told me I needed to log out of TurboTax and use the new code. I did that and the software still did not activate. Eventually, I decided to uninstall the software and reinstall basically solving my own problem as their tech support was useless and kept insulting me saying I entered the numbers wrong. Once I reinstalled the s/w, the NEW code given worked. Keep in mind that the one Big Home Tax issued with my purchase didn't work causing days of needless frustration! (This is due to a scam they are running with temporary passwords that expire unbeknown to the customers.) Meanwhile, once I got my software up and running, BigHomeTax said they didn't like my review and would be cancelling my activation to retaliate against me. They said they would not issue a refund to me due to my review. By cancelling my activation key to run the software, that means they did not deliver me a working product that could efile tax returns both federal and state. See the screenshots of the attachments showing the cancellation of my software key.I have also uploaded a few pages from Trust Pilot reviewers that state they were unable to file or complete their turbo tax filings to the state or the feds due to "cancelled" activation keys for the software purchased through Big Home Tax. They are running a scam operation.

    I bought TurboTax 2023 Premier edition software from them. I received a license - I managed to activate it and successfully filed for a tax extension in April of this year (2024). The license is supposed to be valid for 5 installations - I've only used 1.But in Sept when I tried to file my taxes (same PC and I have not installed any additional copies anywhere), turbotax said the license was invalid/cancelled. I tried to validate it again and it failed (repeatedly). The software will not even start - so I cannot even just print out the information I'd already entered in April (so I cannot even just file manually).I've tried contacting bighometax with no luck - they only accept email and txt msgs (I've sent both with full details). I will now need to buy another copy from elsewhere to finish my taxes - time is running out and the company is silent, not responding and I have no way of even knowing if they're reading my ******* I am out the money I spent and have no usable product.     Purchased Turbotax 2023 and when I went to install there were several error codes and therefore would never completely load so I could access. I checked everything, including uninstall and reinstall and they did provide another key, however I still got the same errors that I provided screen shots of. Requested refund several times and no response at all! Now I have to go purchase elsewhere, delaying filing even further.

    I purchased TurboTax products -- for 2022 and 2023 tax years -- from this company in 2023 and 2024. The download for 2023 worked, as did the activation code I was sent, and I was able to file my taxes. This year, I downloaded the 2023 software but the activation code was a dud. Further, I need to amend my 2022 return and when I tried to open the program, the code from last year no longer worked. So I had purchased software for 2022 and 2023 tax years that were unusable. I contacted the company about the latter problem; I hadn't realized at that point that the new activation code was no good. They responded that the product warranty was only one year so they could do nothing. I replied that this wasn't a warranty issue. I had purchased the activation code from them and I was entitled to have access to the software for as long as the software was supported by the manufacturer. I never got a reply. Nor did I get one when I wrote again about the 2023 tax year (the new purchase) activation code not working. It seems obvious to me that there is a scam with this company pirating activation codes. When a code works, like the first one I bought last year for 2022 tax year, it is likely just luck. I lost the $115.98 that I paid this company for the software and I had to pay about $100 to buy two new activation codes.

    I purchased turbotax deluxe with state from their website. When I try to download it, I receive a warning that the site has been blacklisted due to multiple viruses. I tried multiple browsers and each say the same. I left a message but not one responded.

    I purchased TurboTax Deluxe state and federal from Big Home Tax on 4/9/24. I downloaded and attempted to use the provided activation key, only to receive an error code- not valid.I reached out to company seeking refund after discovering many complaints about invalid activation codes, company sending new codes which did activate, but then not being able to use the free efiles included. This made me feel as if it was a scam. Company has a return policy of ********************************************** new activation code as long as not activated. I let him know I chose to receive a refund. Seller stopped responding after saying they would refund.     I Purchased H&R Block (TaxCut) on March 1st 2024 for $45.99. In the advertisement is said that it comes with 5 free e-files of federal returns. A week after I purchased and installed the software, I wanted to install it on my desktop and the link for downloading was not working anymore. I could not find a place to download it free from the Internet (and I searched a lot). Then, when I prepared my return and wanted to e-file it, it told me that the activation code has reached it's limit and I can't use it for a free filing. That was my first attempt to use the free filing this year, so I know I haven't exhausted the 5 free filings. There was an option to pay about $10 and file it online, which I did. I have tried numerous times to reach them, left messages, tried chat (it says they are accessible 24/7 and the site says they are selling 100% genuine software). I found out that there are many complains like mine, especially about non-functioning access codes. I don't understand how they can operate selling software, which does not perform as advertised or not fulfilling their obligations from the advertisement. Order #*****.

    On 11/10/23 I purchased an HR Block Deluxe+State tax program for 2023. The program comes with an activation code to allow the efile of 5 Federal returns. I efiled one today and went to efile another and got a message that the activation code had reached it limit. I used once and did not give this code to anyone. I called HR Block today 3/29 and was told the activation code had been used six times. I want a refund for the price paid since now I have to pay 9.95 for each return I need to file.
