I hired Mesa Plumbing in October 2023 to fix a water hammer issue on my boiler based heating system. They assured me that they could fix this problem and told me they would stand by their work. I paid them over 3 thousand dollars to fix this water hammer and as it turns out they did a bunch of unnecessary work which never resolved the problem or even improved it in anyway. When I called them on this, they did come out one more time but still where unable to resolve or improve the problem I paid to have resolved. After that they send me another estimate for another 2k to do additional work to resolve the problem I already paid to fix. When I called again, and again to explain this was unacceptable, they used their phone system to forward all my calls straight to voicemail and would NEVER return any of my calls again. They are an awful and unscrupulous company.I had to hire another plumber to undo the work they did and implement the actual fix to the water hammer. I had no choice as Mesa Plumbing would not call me back or respond to any text messages.Business response

********************* authorized all work done by **** and was very glad that we said we would "chase" the issue.
In our professional opinion, the work done was a logical progression through the most common issues causing water hammer in a boiler installation. This is part of "chasing" the water hammer issue--we made no guarantees that each proposed repair would solve the issue.
After exhausting all solutions but one, we proposed a final path forward and ***** did not want to proceed. He wanted a large discount to proceed, but we had already given him a large discount in the estimate for the last solution.
At that point, ***** started to harass the technician who did the work on his personal phone and was calling ****'s phones incessantly and tying them up.
We proceeded through all logical solutions until we came to the last one, proposed it and ********************* did not want to pay our pricing for that solution. So, we did not do the work.
***** is angry because we would not discount the final solution after we had exhausted the others.

Mesa plumbing did some very expensive, unnecessary work on my heat system. They proceeded to ignore my subsequent follow-*** (phone calls, voicemails, text messages etc). They refused to communicate with me or rectify the issue with my system or the bill I paid. The good people of the ******** Front Range need to be able to see my review so they can be made aware of Mesa Plumbings unprofessional business practices. My review needs to be posted on the BBB for Mesa Plumbing and I reject any process that mitigates this message getting out.Initial Complaint

On May 13, 2022, Mesa Plu$mbing, Heating and Cooling came out to a rental I own that had a leaking toilet. The technician called me and provided me three options for fixing it. The first was for approximately $500; he could not guarantee that the leak would be fixed by paying that amount. The second was around $750; the third, about $950. He advised me that the problem would most likely be fixed if I paid the highest amount, $950. There were different fixes associated with the three options. I agreed to the least expensive; he did the work associated with it, and then let me know that the toilet was still leaking. So, he didn't have the least idea how to fix the toilet. I called the office to complain; they agreed to knock the price down by $100. So, now I have paid $400, and the toilet still leaks. This is a real scam. Their plumbers don't know anything about fixing a toilet; they are just out to scam people out of money.
