            It took several trips just to diagnose what was wrong with my car, and I had to fight for it not to take a third because they repeatedly didn't schedule enough time in their day to take a look at it despite me making appointments in advance. I would have also have had to bring it again for the fix. They ended up diagnosing the wrong part and charged me a massive about just for this diagnosis, not even the replacement. The part that they thought was broken turned out to be fine. The actual mechanic was nice, but there person at the front desk was more interested in explaining how the business worked than hearing what I needed to have done (generally felt sleezy). I took my car to a different mechanic after these experiences who quickly and accurately both diagnosed a the real problem and fixed it for a much more reasonable amount of time and money. The new mechanic shop was horrified at how much I paid for and how I was treated at independent motors.

            Along with a Google review this was the first time we heard that Meagan had a problem with our work. Subsequently we have been in touch with Meagan and seemed have resolved the issue to her satisfaction. We let her know that all our work is guaranteed and to inform us directly when there's a problem so we can respond accordingly. As a result, we sent her a full refund.

            Megan, We appreciate your candid feedback. Regarding our timeliness of the repair; it appears you brought the vehicle to us on a Friday, and we did indeed run out of time unexpectedly. You needed your vehicle back for the weekend so you returned it to us Monday when we finished our diagnoses. We worked on your vehicle back in May and unfortunately you never reached out to us other than posting this review. Upon hearing of your dissatisfaction with our service we contacted you immediately and issued a full refund. You seemed satisfied with the way we resolved your complaint and said you would take down this review. We rarely make mistakes but when we do, we always stand behind our work.
