    On 11/21/2025, I brought my 2015 REMOVEDF-150 Lariat to Petes Garage due to an oil leak. The shop diagnosed the issue and recommended replacing the oil pan. I approved the repair and paid $985.86. I was told the job would take a maximum of six hours, but it ultimately took two days. When I picked up the vehicle, I was told the leak was fixed and everything was in good condition. However, two days later, during a 14-hour drive back to REMOVED, I attempted to check my oil and found that the dipstick was jammed and completely stuck. Once I returned to REMOVED, I had another technician inspect the vehicle. I was informed that the dipstick was most likely wedged into the new oil pan during the replacement, which now requires the oil pan and associated components to be replaced again due to improper installation. This issue occurred immediately after Petes Garage completed their repair, and it is the direct result of poor workmanship. I am seeking reimbursement for the cost of correcting this mistake, as well as any related expenses.

    Theft of tires. While our car was at REMOVED's Garage for a repair to the A/C and fan belt, all four fairly new snow tires were replaced with bald, older ones. (2022 Bridgestone snow tires with less than 10K miles swapped for bald 2017 REMOVED). This was very dangerous -- as our daughter drove away from REMOVED's, the front bumper and one wheel well fell off of the car (she picked them up), the car behaved strangely (she drove slowly). Next morning, a tire was flat and she discovered the theft after bringing the car to a repair shop. We are very lucky that she did not have a tire blow out while driving to and from the REMOVED. I thought that this was a reputable business and am very disappointed.

    I'm sorry to hear what happened to your vehicle. We did not do this, it sounds like vandalism to me. At the time your car was here we did not have the capability of changing tires and probably can get evidence from excel energy as we did not have power at this time your vehicle was here.

    I am rejecting this response because: the theft of tires obviously occurred while the car was parked at REMOVED's Garage for a week for a mechanical repair -- otherwise my daughter would not have immediately felt the change in drive-ability, had parts fall off of the car, or have a flat tire within 24 hours.  How do newish Bridgstones become very old Michelins??? I think that not taking responsibility is a sign of a lack of accountability and responsibility by the owner of REMOVED's Garage.  I KNOW that the car was not there for tire work.  But the REMOVEDare gone.  My daughter took the car from REMOVEDup to the REMOVED-- what would have happened if the tires has blown while driving on a mountain pass?

    Someone in this business is responsible for theft, and the business is certainly responsible for not monitoring vehicles left to their care adequately.
