    The heating system wasnt working. They would not hire a professional. They kept having an angry neighborhood man with no experience look into it. This man had verbally abused me in the past and I was uncomfortable having him in the house. I was forced to let this man in to work on the heater. He was unable to fix it. The walls, ceilings, and appliances all turned black from soot. Finally, a professional comes in and says we are lucky to be alive because of the high levels of carbon monoxide. There were no carbon monoxide detectors in the house( illegal). The chimney was clogged and all the chemicals were coming back into the house. We could have died. This went on for months while I was pregnant. It was such an easy fix but we were given the runaround and forced to be in ***** proximity to an abusive man I had complained about. The prices for rent are outrageous for what you get. Slum Lords! Manipulation, lies, intrusive. She may look like a sweet old lady and claim to be a feminist but she will lie, guilt trip you, ask for you to do things that are outside of a renter's responsibility, almost kill you and your unborn baby, make you break your lease, and then keep your deposit. I should *** her.
