    I am rejecting this response because:

    Company demanded payment today.

     They claimed work was completed yesterday. No one was here yesterday as claimed.

     

    Our house is,Not yet been completed as of today 10/24. 5 months since payment was first made and still not done.

    The gutter work was completed on October 5, 2023 and the siding and all other work will be completed this week.

    The work referred to by the consumer in this complaint is an insurance claim due to a hail storm. The initial estimate from the insurance company to cover the damage caused by the storm was received on 6/4/23. CJ Restoration working in re-inspecting the property, reviewing the insurance companies initial estimate and negotiation a new estimate to insurance the insurance company covered all storm related damages. The result of CJ Restorations efforts was an increase in the original insurance estimate of a little of 38%. The finial insurance estimate was received on 8/4/23. All of the work has been completed on the property with the exception of some additional work the owner wanted over and above the work covered by the insurance company. If the owner wants additional work done, that work will be quoted and if the owner agrees to it would be completed, however ** is only responsible for completing the work indicated in the insurance claim, for the costs set out in the insurance claim and that work has been completed. No additional work has yet to be agreed to or contracted for under a sperate agreement. Delays in complete were experienced in some aspects of this project due to supply chain shortages in supplies such as shingles that the entire front range area is experiencing due to the extremely large number of insurance claims filed from ****** to Fort ****** due to this years hail storms.

    House is NOT complete.

    still have holes in siding. Chimney trim is not complete. Additional damage was done by contractors ******* to the chimney. House has been inspected by the city. Im sure it will not pass inspection. Sheathing that was supposed to be replaced was not.

     I believe the only way to resolve this is legal action by me.

    House is not finished. Additional damage has been done by contractors workers. When they did this they left in a hurry. House has not been inspected . The bbb has been no help. Im currently consulting with a lawyer on the matter.

    The final municipally inspections are scheduled for Thursday December 14, 2023. Upon completion of the inspection, CJ Restoration will do a final inspection addressing any concerns the owner has work work completed by CJ Restoration. Past complaints from owner was for additional work not contracted for.
