    ***** customer service! We had our water heater unexpectedly burst on the backside (on Monday morning, 8AM). It was so obvious that we needed a new one that with the picture we took they didnt send out a technician to see when we initially reported the issue. We were told that within 3-5 business days that wed have a new unit. Day 5 (Friday) came around and we were told that they havent even placed the order for a new one. The following Tuesday (after hosting company that weekend) on Day 7, we were told they finally placed an order through Lowes about 5 minutes away from our house, and that it would be ready by Thursday (Day 9). We are now on Day 10 and they dont have any date when the new unit will be available (checking Lowes website they have inventory available RIGHT NOW of the make and model of the new one). Every phone call, expect to spend 30 minutes waiting before you get to the machine, then another 2 days before/if you can get a supervisor on the phone. This is absolutely the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! After we get our new unit we are switching. I dont typically leave reviews so if Im leaving this one its only to warn others away-STAY FAR AWAY!We were told that we could get the cost of the unit paid to us, but that wed have to install it ourselves (a big headache) or pay someone else to get it installed (a couple hundred $$). We have an installer lined up (procured by 2-10) and they wont even pick up the phone for him!

    The website has not worked for months now. My air went out and I cannot submit a service request. The customer service numbers says the site is accessible 24 hours. That is a lie. I am tired of this company's inefficient practices. I went for 2 weeks waiting on a contractor to call about service. This has nothing to do with tariffs or supply chains. This is POOR customer service.

    We originally had 2-10 Home Warranty from our builder. When that one year warranty expired, we extended and augmented our policy. We have now filed two claims with 2-10 and they were useless in both cases. Our AC went completely out during 100 degree weather and they couldn't service our claim for four days! Unacceptable! So we called the original installer who came in two hours and fixed it. We were lucky with that one. The **** company did not charge us because they said we still had a couple days left in our original warranty with the builder. But unlike 2-10, I think they were just practicing good customer service. Then we had a sewage overflow from our toilet bowl into our bathroom and foyer. Again, we contacted 2-10 and again they were not able to send someone for three days! Also unacceptable. We could not use any of the water facilities in our house. Per the recorded message at 2-10, (apparently no one works there on the weekends), we were instructed to find anyone we could for this emergency and then submit a claim for reimbursement. That claim was denied too. Apparently they only pay for snaking, but snaking was not an option for us because we have check valves in our sewer lines and they would have been damaged by the snake. 2-10 would only pay one third of the amount, so we escalated. Even after explaining the valves would have been damaged with snaking and costing more to then to have to replace them, our claim was ********* top it off, our sales person, who previously was quite available when she was trying to sell us the extended warranty, was suddenly silent. She would not return our numerous calls or emails.I do not recommend this company at all and we will be cancelling our policy and looking for a reputable company. At a time when we really needed their help urgently, they twice, completely let us down. They couldn't provide the service we needed and they denied our valid claim. BBB rating is meaningless.

    If I could leave no stars or even negative I would. I never write reviews good or bad but this company has earned my time to write one. If you have an issue and need them to cover something... they will have a clause stating they dont cover it due to this or that. This has got to be the biggest scam company there is. Go anywhere else but 2-10. ******** company terrible customer service and clause after clause to not cover the things they have boldly listed on their website. Do not put your homes trust in them! They will scam you out of every dollar you give them

    Pathetic service, their support goes by the script and do not have any escalation path. My appliance broke and they kept on saying 3-5 business days. On 5th business day, they said the claim will be processed on 6th business day and they haven't received any updates. No empathy towards the customer's situation, waiting on a response from home warranty for more than 3 weeks.I would not recommend anyone to go with 2-10 Home warranty! Stay away if you don't want to be mentally harassed.

    We have been struggling for nearly a year to get our stove fixed. They are impossible to get a hold of, and when you do, the person you are talking to typically doesn't have the information they need. We have a thermador appliance, and they continually dispatch people who cannot take care of thermador appliances. When we updated our warranty package to include appliances, it was with the understanding stuff like this would be easy to take care of. It's been anything but easy, and they do not help out. We now have a stove that doesn't work.

    When I first got this was with a new home. I had to file a claim for an electric issue. They couldn't find anyone in my local area to assist me and told me that I'd be reimbursed for finding a local business to service my needs. They told me this 5 times but when I went to file the reimbursement they denied it. Why? Because the electrician reset the circuit breaker befor getting ************* forward a few years to my next issue, the A/C unit. This ticket has been open since 3/2025. The business they used took over a week to respond and wasn't willing to work with our busy schedule. I have yet to hear back from them and now my AC unit is just running away like it's in the Boston marathon.

    While initially this company was great, this past year they were the worst! My AC unit has been out since April and they have done everything to drag their feet on my claim . $550 to s contractor who never fixed the unit and then they said they were not liable. 2 more techs came and no resolution even though the unit was needing replacement as indicated by both ***** and other companies. They are now giving me the run around on canceling my policy.

    I have had the worst service with my new HVAC system. It has taken over 30 days to replace the unit and on day 32 after the replacement the unit is leaking out of the return duct on my attic insulation through the second floor plaster ceiling and a light fixture on to my hard wood floor. 2-10 ******** ***** called and told me the contractor was more than happy to come out today to fix the problem. I have not heard from him and on hold currently with 2-10. The contractor was Virginia Breeze. Also ****** from 2-10 the escalation department was supposed to call me back to day to verify what was done which has not happened. It is a shame that you have to spend your time forcing a company to do the job you are paying for them to do.

    We had an awful experience with *********************************. After a washer repair, our ceiling flooded the very next day. When we called for help, the technician responded with extreme disrespect accusing us of having a "Black attitude," saying he was "from the hood," telling us to "shut up," and refusing to come back to fix his work.We had to hire a water restoration company ourselves. They had to tear up carpet, remove padding, tile, and baseboards. We were forced to stay in 95-degree heat for a week with no option to stay elsewhere, leading to stress, *****************, and financial hardship.Clearly, 2-10 Home Warranty doesnt care about the value of their customers because their mission statement and core values are not reflected in the people they hire to represent them as a company.This experience showed zero professionalism or care and violated every value a homeowner should expect. We are left with damage and ongoing costs, and my family felt unsafe in our own home.
