At first most of the sales I did with this dealer was awesome and no issues until May of 2021. After the sales and the background check was started everything went down hill. The sales people were great in the process up to after I left the business. I was told I could be back to pick up my item along with that I gave a date I will be there to pick the item up. The first 3 days after I left the store I was called like 3 to 5 times telling me that the item is ready for pick up. I responded with the date and a rough time I would be there to pick it up. This was all the same as the date of the start of the sale. Everything was good for about 5 days than I started getting calls by one of the managers saying I had to call him back and threatening to cancel the sale. Now I mentioned I was going to be working and out of town until the time and date of pick up on the date of the sale. I finally called back when I had break in work and other matters. What I was told by the manager that I was talking to made my jaw drop and with great displeasure I canceled the sale and now I am looking for my dream product again.

At first most of the sales I did with this dealer was awesome and no issues until May of 2021. After the sales and the background check was started everything went down hill. The sales people were great in the process up to after I left the business. I was told I could be back to pick up my item along with that I gave a date I will be there to pick the item up. *That’s not true. You did not mention that you intended not to come back for two weeks until you called a few days later. You probably should have just stayed to buy the item at the time of the initial visit to the store when you picked out the gun and completed the background check application, but sometimes we have people who do not want to wait the 20 minutes for the background check to come back, and will return within a day or two to pick up the item. At the time, I think this is what the sales staff was expecting…you to return within a day or two to pick up the gun. The first 3 days after I left the store I was called like 3 to 5 times telling me that the item is ready for pick up. I responded with the date and a rough time I would be there to pick it up. *Yes, you called back and then informed us that you would not be back to pick up the item for about two weeks at that time. My sales staff (whoever you spoke to) accepted what you told them, which was probably a mistake on his or her part since this gun was a consignment, i.e., owned by another customer and that we are selling on his behalf. I wish that this person would have been thinking this through, but this was an unusual situation, and they passed the information along to management. This was our mistake, although in my employees’ defense, an understandable oversight. We have spoken to our staff about this so that they know not to do this in the future. This was all the same as the date of the start of the sale. *Not true. This was two or three days AFTER the original transaction initiating the background check. Everything was good for about 5 days than I started getting calls by one of the managers saying I had to call him back and threatening to cancel the sale. *Actually, he started calling you back the day after you called and told us that it would be 2 weeks before you returned (after we had contacted the consignee to explain the situation to him). He was not threatening to cancel the sale, just trying to call you back so that we could explain that the consignee did not want to wait for another two weeks to be paid for us selling his consignment. You would not respond. We called several times over the course of several days attempting to speak to you about this, but you were not available to take the call, nor would you return our many voicemails so that we could explain the situation. Now I mentioned I was going to be working and out of town until the time and date of pick up on the date of the sale. * Huh? You told this to whom? Since you weren’t returning our calls at this point, I don’t know who you would have mentioned this to. I finally called back when I had break in work and other matters. What I was told by the manager that I was talking to made my jaw drop and with great displeasure I canceled the sale and now I am looking for my dream product again. *Yes, since you would not return our calls over the course of several days I had my manager call you and leave the message that we needed to speak to you about the transaction, and that if we didn’t hear from you by the end of the day we would put the gun back out for sale, as per the consignee’s request. THEN you finally found the time to call us back, but when you did, you were focused on telling my manager off, so much so that he could not get a word in edgewise to explain to you that all we wanted you to do was to pay for the gun so that we could pay the consignee. My manager was finally able to explain to you what the situation was, but by then, you told him that you did not want the gun anymore. In summary: We wanted to speak to you to explain the situation, but you would not return our calls. I wish that initially my staff would have handled this differently, but when you left the store they did not know that you did not intend to return for two weeks. If this was not a consignment gun, and the consignee so impatient, this may have not been an issue. If you wanted the gun and would have paid for it over the phone we could have held on to it for you until your return with no issues, but you would not return our calls until we gave you an ultimatum, and then you were focused on telling off my manager instead of letting him explain to you what the situation was. By the way, I have also mailed you a check for the non-refundable background check fee of $10.50 that is paid to the state, so that you can continue the quest for your dream product.
