    On 12/15/22 I went to Hampden Dental Group due to losing a cap on my tooth. I was told I needed a crown. The dentist had to file, drill, and mold my tooth to send out for a permanent crown. Until that came in, a Temporary was placed. I was scheduled for another appt 12/28/22, I showed up, was told the crown was stuck in transit. I had another appt on 1/3/23 where my temp was removed and they put the permanent one on, it was incorrect. I told them my concern with the pain I had since 12/15. I was told this should not be painful. The recast my tooth and sent back out to the lab and set a temp back in. My crown came in 1/16 and I went to an appt on 1/19 where they removed the temp crown and prepped my tooth for the crown. After an Xray and they said it looked good and the hygienist set the crown. After the crown was set the dentist came in to see if any adjustments were needed and a Xray was taken. The dentist cussed and let me know that it was set crooked. the fix would be to remove the crown by cutting it off. To cut it out he needed to administer a shot to numb the area and he accidentally poked my upper lip causing it to bleed. He injected the CORRECT area and cut the crown off. They recast my mold and sent it to the lab again. They reset the temp again. The dentist told the Hygienist to set the temp in correctly because I was experiencing pain. On 1/22/23 while brushing the temp crown fell off. I called the emergency number and was told it is not an emergency. I called 1/23 didnt get a appt until I got upset &it was for 4p. The pain was unbearable, and I couldn't wait. I went to another Dr. where I was told I needed a root canal and a crown, something ************ did not catch. I asked for a refund to my insurance as well as myself due to not having the work done there. Insurance paid $738 and I $1000, they agreed to refund $450 due to already doing work, however most the work was due to their own mistakes. I do not believe I should have to pay for their mistakes.
