    Ride to airport in February at 4:45 am (therefore dark outside).I had my over-the-ear headphones (so, size of a grapefruit) clipped to handle of my suitcase, which came off at some point, and the $200 headphones were lost. Logically speaking, the most likely scenario is that they came off while the suitcase was being handled by the driver: being lifted into or out of the ***** opposed to the clip spontaneously failing during the very easy roll from my front door to the *** (25 ft) or the *** to the restroom right inside baggage claim at the airport (where I first noticed the loss, maybe 50 ft).In talking with ******* (business owner), in his defensive bias, he refuses to cede the absolute real possibility that his driver could have had anything to do with the loss. Driver said he never saw the headphones, which is understandable, being in a black case on a black suitcase in the dark of night, but also lends to the theory that the suitcase did not receive the necessary care it might have gotten had the headphones been seen. He had originally offered me a complimentary ride in the future, but as I am moving out of town, this doesnt really help me and I would prefer something different. When I made this known to him, he suddenly wants to know why I think his company could be responsible for this, which, really, is self evident. His driver handled my bag, twice, and again, logically speaking, the most likely time the headphones came off is when the suitcase was being lifted into or out of ***. *******, citing himself to be a fair man, said he would think about it and get back with me. Never heard from him again. Ride was $141.90 on charged on 2/22, actual ride on 2/24 Headphones were $215.57 on 2/22 unable to locate the invoice in my email but included are screenshots from my credit card statement
