We hired a wedding photographer for our special day and it turned out to be the worst decision we have ever made. The wedding took place on 7.31.22 and we paid $2750 for the photographers services. We had stacked hands on many items that were supposed to be photographed (We were supposed to have drone footage of our ceremony, photographers were supposed to come get the wedding couple at sunset time and go outside for pictures, we wanted to get pictures of our hava nagila dance, Photographers showed up late and left early, etc). None of these referenced events that we specifically asked for happened. Our wedding photographers did not capture any of these events as they were sitting at a table in the corner of our ceremony talking to each other instead of walking around the room taking pictures that we had asked them to. Many of our pics are from a table view where our guests are blocking the shot. The quality of pictures was horrendous and we literally do not have a single picture from our entire wedding that the bride and groom liked. When we pressed the photographers as to why they did not capture our the previously mentioned events, we were told that "it was cloudy outside so we didnt get you" (sunset picture request), "we feel like we overshot your wedding" (when asked why they didnt get up from the table to get closer photos), "we had already left the wedding for the hava nagila dance" (we have pictures and videos from friends that show the photographers sitting at the table during this dance) and no response for the drone inquiry. We gave the photographers an option to settle this out with us for a reduced amount with a specific time frame for our request and let them know that we would report them to the BBB if they did not comply. We received multiple emails from them trying to cover themselves for their poor performance and they have not done anything about it. As such we are looking for help from the BBB to get our entire payment of $2750 refunded.
