    On 10/18/24 I brought in a phone to UBreakIFix to get the interscreen and outerscreen replaced. I was given an ETA of same day 5pm. When arriving later that day to pick up the phone, they informed us that they had damaged the phone when repairing it, and parts needed to be ordered to repair the phone again. They said the part would come in next day and the phone would be ready by 10/20 in the AM. I called multiple times after this and no one working there could tell me when the phone was going to be repaired. On 10/22 they said the part was arriving and the phone would be ready next day. 10/23 we picked up the phone. Since the repair, the phone kept turning off randomly but came back on. On 12/22 the phone completely died and would not come back on and was dropped off again to fix as this was not an issue this phone had ever had before the initial repair. Since 12/22, conflicting time frames for the repair were given, with no resolution. Over 19 days I have had to call daily for updates as no one has ever called to explain what was happening with the phone or provide updates to reassure this was a priority. The issue with the phone was described as a subboard short, which ***** (Manager) informed me that this is a part that they handled during the initial repair. Over the course of the 19 days the phone has been in possession of the store, I have been given many excuses as to why the parts had not been ordered, or when the phone would be repaired. On 1/10/25, ***** informed me that the phone issue was deemed to be at fault of the customer (myself) and that he could not move forward with repairing the phone and the claim was closed. I explained that the issue with the phone could not have been due to our error and was a part that was damaged from the initial repair, however he explained that this decision came from his regional manager. I would like my phone repaired or replaced as I was promised a resolution and have been without a cellphone for a combined 24 days.

    I brought my laptop to this location of ubreakifix to be repaired and they proved themselves unqualified to repair it. After over a month of the laptop being in their possession they had only managed to damage the laptop further, order the wrong part for the repair twice, and provide horrible customer service. According to the repair service that I took the laptop to subsequently, they caused the repair cost to increase by several hundred dollars. After this experience, I would like the business to pay for the additional damage they caused and I am concerned about the security of the personal information that is on the laptop and I have attempted to change all the passwords they might have obtained.
