The ridiculous thing is that I got there at 12:45. They had already closed the gates. Your sign says 1 oclock I dont care if your short staff if your sign says 1 oclock it should be 1 oclock. You guys need to find better leadership. and better employees who can actually explain it to you instead of yelling at you that theyre close

Terrible customer service. The website lists a 5:30 PM close time, M-F. I arrived at the ****** (******) location at 4:50 PM on Friday June 21st and was told that they decided to close early that day. Very disrespectful of their customer's time. The State of ******************** needs to terminate its relationship with this company or at least allow other options for emissions tests. I'm rating a one star only because a zero star rating is not an option.

    Good afternoon,

We apologize for the inconvenience of the early closure. Unfortunately, the day you visited we were exceptionally busy and at 4:15 we had full queue of vehicles that would take until well after 6:30 pm to finish testing. We do not like to close before 5:30 but occasionally we have to, to also respect the time of our staff and their families. We are not able to schedule testing and are required to work on a first-come-first-served basis. When a queue, like the ************************'s, is full there are at minimum 10 vehicles waiting - in addition to the 12 to 14 being inspected inside the building - to be inspected. Each inspection takes from six to 30 minutes depending on the vehicle. In May, the average test time at the ************************ was 15.6 minutes. If we imagine the minimum number of vehicles inside of the building and in the queue, about 22 vehicles, with the minimum inspection time of six minutes, the staff would still be working until after 7 p.m.

We have recently added this disclaimer to our website Locations and ********** page.

Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and do hope you can understand.

Terrible experience. Poorly run, with rude employees. Went to the Sheridan ******** of Envirotest/AirCare Colorado because the wait was supposedly 5 minutes. Arrived there, pushed the button for ticket as instructed and no tickets were dispensed after pushing button multiple times. Got into the correct lane for my 2WD vehicle and waited 5-10 minutes. During that time, my line moved up, and there were two cars still in front of me when an employee approached my window and asked what year my car was. I told him - 2011. He stated I needed to get in the 4WD car line. I asked why, noting I was in the appropriate line for my 2WD vehicle, and I'd already waited and my line had moved up, and I didn't want to get in a line that had triple the number of cars in it. I told him I didn't have the time to wait three times as long. He responded, "I don't care...you need to back up your vehicle now." As I understand, AirCare Colorado has a monopoly on emissions testing in Colorado, as you must go through this company in order to get state-required emissions testing, and thus they have no motivation to provide quality care or customer service. They should be investigated by the BBB.

I'm not sure who it was or what his problem was with me, but it looked like the manager of the air Colorado in ******. When I moved up to the bay the first thing he asked me was if I was coming from another Air Care Colorado. I said no and I asked why. He murmured something and he walked away with an attitude . I left the keys inside the car and went inside to the waiting area. Minutes later same *** comes in and points at me and tells me to go outside with him. I was getting annoyed by his attitude but I wanted to stay calm since they were doing the emissions test on my car. I go outside and he asked me if my car was registered (even thou they don't need to see the registration or the title to do the emissions test) | said yes I mean I had a temp plate !!! So I gave him my registration and I asked why he needed it. He just said (with a bad attitude)to go inside and wait. Next thing I know he drives my car through the bay and supposedly MY OBD connector was not good and their computer couldn't read my car. I went home hooked up my scanner to my OBD and it worked fine. So till now I don't know what was his problem and why he did what he did and acted the way he did . Days later I sent my son to a different A C C.. and my car passed the emission test with no problem. Everyone else was really nice
