I used a moving brokerage called All American Moving Company, LLC that sent a company called D United Logistics to move my belongings from ** to IN on 7/15/24. I was quoted a total of $4200 and put down a deposit of $1650 to secure the service. Upon arrival 4 hours later than the scheduled pick up time, the driver very quickly decided that my total was going to be $8164. I knew that I had added a few boxes and small items from the original quote and did expect an increase, but not almost double what was expected! We were left no time to find another resolution as the bank was near closing and we needed to be out of our residence soon after. We were told that our items would be delivered straight to IN in 7 days but they did have 30 days to complete the delivery. We received roughly 75% of our belongings on 8/12/24 and werent told until we realized we were missing items that the rest didnt fit on the truck and that we would receive them in one week. The items that we did receive were damaged with several items destroyed completely. It has been almost another month with still no clear delivery date for our remaining items. We have contacted the owner repeatedly trying to get a clear answer and she rarely responds. She has told us that it will be delivered when she has a driver available. Upon the most recent contact, I informed her that the total was miscalculated by her driver on our invoice and that we were overcharged by $970 per the itemized invoice that we signed. She has refused any repayment even with the presented evidence and also refuses to provide any repayment for the late delivery or broken items.Initial Complaint

We contracted D United Logistics through a moving broker to move us from ******** to ** (order # *******-R5), with a pickup date of 4/27/24. They did not come until 4/29, were not prepared to do a full pack of our belongings as they were contracted to do, and said the cubic feet needed was underestimated by half. We now needed to pay double the price quoted, and they would not accept a credit card, though our contract stated they would. We had to turn in the keys to our house that afternoon, so we had no choice but to find the cash and pay them. The driver had to go and empty his half-full truck and hire more workers to pack our belongings. They finished loading the truck at midnight that night. 2 days before delivery, we received a phone call that we needed to send a portion of the balance due by ***** immediately, and the rest by cash upon delivery. Our contract stated that the balance was due upon delivery, by cash or cashier's check. We were afraid that we were being scammed, but we felt we had no choice but to comply. When our belongings arrived in ** on 5/9/24, they were on a different truck that was packed so poorly that when they opened the door, items started falling out. At least 1/3 of our things were damaged or destroyed, everything was filthy, and some boxes and the items within were sopping wet. We had other people's things mixed in with ours, even inside closed boxes. Over 20 items of ours were missing, including a plastic bin full of family Christmas heirlooms that can never be replaced. The driver and his assistant did not have proper equipment; no hand trucks or dollies, and had to muscle their way with heavy items, damaging some of the items and our floors, not to mention themselves. We have pursued a claim through the broker, who says they will act on our behalf, but D United has not responded.Initial Complaint

We moved from Northern to ******************* in April. They showed up without calling, quoted ** nearly double so we had no option but to get out of the space, lost a box, damaged items. They set us up with their insurance and for several hundred dollars worth of stuff and more in damages and only gave us $90 which was a check we had to get notarized (which would cost half of the check amount) and the check stated we could not *** for further damage.Initial Complaint

picked up our belongings august 28,2022. quoted us DOUBLE our initial quote. we scheduled our things to be delivered September 30 (we scheduled with them back on september 9) our stuff arrived a week late, boxes broken and our washer broke. tried to contact them and no one will respond. they have ghosted us and mind you, this was my husbands final military move so now we are out ****** since they never gave us the final weigh stamps. biggest scam of a company and i want my money back.Initial Complaint

We had several missing items attached are photos of larger missing items the bbq was a brand new charcoal ***** grill and several smaller items in boxes that didn't arrive including automotive tools and misc tools and rakes and shovels alot of garage items didn't arrive images of couches were new before we moved they were wrapped before moved and un wrapped covered in dirt dust and feet were destroyed and hole in ottoman there may be more missing items we haven't realized yet but these are the remaining items not in photos attachedInitial Complaint

Items picked up on August 31, 2022. Items Not delivered until September 21, 2022, but were quoted to be delivered within 7 to 10 days of original pick up. This was NOT the company that I thought would be picking up my items. The Movers that picked items up were rude and condescending, they dropped and broke items before even getting them on the truck. They were a day late coming for pickup. They added almost ***** to the original quote and based it on an item (a ****** that had been included in the original estimate. When I received my items, pretty much every box was ******* or ******* or had holes in them. They sent ONE mover to deliver items that required at least two people to unload. They stored my items with other people's belongings and mixed them all up on the truck so that the delivery driver had to wade through everyone's items in order to find each individual's items. I shutter to think of whose stuff my stuff was stored with. Who knows what the other people had in their boxes. I still do not know whether I received all of my *********** but I know for sure that I received other people's boxes. I was never told that my stuff would be stored at a secondary location before being delivered. I have damage to items. I was told that I had *** cubic feet to work with and that *** more cubic feet would not be more than **** more. My items fit well within *** cubic feet. They based their extreme bump on charges on a few pictures that they took when they arrived. (I had already measured out a *** cubic foot space and knew very well how much stuff I had.) The misinformation, the tardiness, lack of regard for my things is the *********** part! These people have no business handling other people's things. These guys are not a legitimate moving company and I want money back!
