Request for Reinstatement of My Grindr Account Dear ********************/Grindr Support Team ,I am a long-term and loyal Grindr Unlimited subscriber who has consistently used and supported your platform over the years. Since the beginning of this year, I have experienced my account being wrongly banned for the fourth time. Each ban occurred shortly after I renewed my Unlimited subscription. In previous cases, I fully cooperated by providing the requested documentation, and team members such as Leo, **** and ******** promptly and properly resolved the issues by reinstating my account.However, most recently, immediately after ***** renewed my Unlimited subscription, my account was banned again with an unreasonable explanation and no detailed information was provided. I firmly believe this ban resulted from malicious reports, as I have always complied with community guidelines and only declined to respond to users who harassed me.Unlike previous cases where my account ban was thoroughly reviewed and resolved after I provided supporting documents, this recent ban was handled extremely hastily. The decision was made final very quickly, without giving me any opportunity to appeal or receive a clear explanation. This lack of transparency and fair process is deeply concerning and unfair, especially given my clean history and prior cooperation.Grindr is not just a dating app for me; it serves as an essential community that helps alleviate my anxiety and provides a sense of belonging and support. I paid for a year long subscription with features being that I can share my albums with others users until the end of subscription February 18, 2026 at a cost of ****** plus tax. Today June 17 2025, they took away the features reneging on the features i paid for a year for. If I can not receive ALL that I paid for I want a full refund! This is straight up fraud! Account banned with no warning or reason given. I did not break any of their listed rules either.- Ban occurred on July 31, 2024 - Appealed the same day.- Got a response saying I was warned already (I was not warned) and that they wouldn't be giving any reason for the ban on August 16, 2024.- Effectively repeated the same message after I asked for clarification in an email they sent on August 19, 2024. I am filing this complaint due to ongoing billing issues with Grindr that have not been resolved after multiple attempts to contact their support. I have been double-billed for a subscription through the Apple App Store and despite reaching out to both Grindr and *****, I have not received a refund or any substantial assistance. Grindr has failed to acknowledge or resolve the issue, and their customer service has been completely unresponsive, leaving me with no resolution or ***************** a paying customer, I expect transparent billing and responsive customer support, especially when dealing with duplicate charges. This lack of communication and refusal to take responsibility is unacceptable and demonstrates poor business ethics. I am requesting a full refund for the duplicate charges and a clear explanation for how this was allowed to happen. I am also requesting Grindr take action to improve their customer service process so others are not similarly affected.
