    This company no only does not want to work with patients and their insurance, they have horrible customer ********** way to pay their bill as their website for payment does not work on any platform including phones. I tried to tell them this when I finally got through, they did not believe me and told me my account in 1.5 months went to collection.I never dealt with debt collectors which is an entire other experience. They need to get their billing sorted before they act like gangster. Will never use them again and hope no one does as well. other places to get testing for your medical needs.

    On 12/20/24, I received notification from a collections agency but I never received a bill related to the services.

    This company contacted me saying that I have an unpaid bill, although I told them that I haven't received any bills from them in the mail. Then they said I am signed up for paperless billing, but I never signed up for paperless billing with this company. Regardless, I asked them to send me an invoice in the mail so I could review it and we could resolve this, but they refused to send me a bill. I told them I need to see a bill before paying anything, and they again refused and then hung up on me. I would like them to send me an invoice and act like decent human beings.

    A week ago, I received a bill from the collection agency which was turned over from Bay Imaging Consultants. The bill shows the amount plus interest without any details of services. I never received a statement of services or bills from Bay Imaging Consultants before, so it was a complete surprise to see the bill and it was already turned over to the collection. My family called Bay Imaging Consultants, but they wouldn't provide us with details of what services they are charging me for because they turned it over to the collection. They claimed they sent me the bill but I want them to give me the actual evidence that it was mailed to me because I never received their bill but I was able to receive the collection's bill. I was not aware that their bill even existed because I never received one and I was not informed about their services because I was taken to the emergency room and everything was ordered by the hospital without my decision. If I was informed about the bill in a timely manner, I would have done everything I could do to work it out. For the hospital I was admitted, I received the statement and bill in a timely manner and I already worked it out with their financial assistance. Because Bay Imaging Consultants never properly delivered the statement and bill to me, I was not even given a chance to review what services were performed and what the bill was about. Further, uninsured patients who are at or below 400 percent of the federal poverty level are eligible to apply for a charity care or discount payment policy according to Department of Financial *********************** in the State of **********. ************ is available even when a bill is past due. Therefore, I request Bay Imaging Consultants to provide me with 1) the statement detailing what services are being charged, 2) a chance to apply for a charity care or discount payment policy available for uninsured patients.

    Went to Good *** ****************** for a bone density exam, a preventative care procedure covered at 100% and no applicable deductible. Both at the time of making the appointment over the phone, as well as when I checked in, I emphasized "I just want to make sure this is preventative care and as such, NO DEDUCTIBLE or any sort of co-pay applies". Both times I was reassured categorically that I would pay nothing, by the staff.Over a month later, I received a bill from Bay Imaging Consultants for the "reading" of the bone density scan. (A reading which BTW I hadn't even received.) I contacted them and they said they had billed insurance separately for the reading and not been paid hence I was responsible. When I contacted insurance, they said that this bill was a separate and distinct claim from the bone density exam billed by the center, and as such, didn't fall under the preventative care 100% coverage/no deductible umbrella.I reached out again to Bay Imaging and said (1) I was not informed at any point that the bone density exam would result in 2 bills - one not covered by insurance (2) since they hadn't even provided me with the results, I was declining it at this time. Their response: "it is the responsibility of Good Samaritan to inform you that they outsource their readings"I looked over the 11-page financial agreement. Buried on page 6 was a 2-sentence provision stating that IF I am provided services by outside professionals, I would be billed by them. No mention of Bay Imaging, nor that this hypothetical situation actually applied here. And may I remind you, twice I was told "That's correct" when I asked "This bone density exam is covered at 100% with no deductible?" Bay Imaging denies liability claiming that the lack of disclosure is Good ***** fault. Good ***** financial office was extremely sympathetic but said they could do nothing about the charge wasn't theirs. A typical partner strategy to leave the client with no recourse.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I don't believe that letter was written by a professional, there are too many typos (such as "the patient s seen 1/15/18" a professional wouldn't make that mistake also the Logo/header for the letter) and also I did have insurance as I keep explaining to these people. I have sent in copies of my insurance card and a copy of my insurance card is attached and my Medi-Cal BIC number 91139944A60181. My insurance was never billed from these charge. Also the charge that was associated with this charge was removed and this charge doesn't appear on my Equifax credit report. This is a scam charge and needs to be removed.
